Best restaurant for authentic Andhra food. Their weekend pulav specials are awesome and their appetizers like karampodi chicken and masala wings, are just excellent. Great spice level too. The first time I ordered takeout, they forgot to place the order and it was not ready when I got there. This happens even to the best of us. They got my order ready very quickly and even gave me some complimentary gulab jamun (which was also excellent) for making me wait. I highly recommend Astoria if you want some excellent Indian food.

Brought a friend who had never tasted Indian cuisine. We chose the “bring the buffet to your table” option so that he could try a variety. I had been here before and knew that they had great food, a huge menu, excellent customer service and good prices. They treat you like a member of the family. On this visit they did not disappoint and they have gained my friend as a customer for life. Thanks for the great experience!

Buffet is no longer available. Bummer. I used to like to come here for their lunch buffet just to try a variety of entrees (isn't that the beauty of buffets at ethnic restaurants?).
I haven't been here in a couple of years but I do recall everything I tried when they had a buffet as being pretty tasty. I wanted to avoid the temptation of ordering Chicken Tikka Masala for the umpteenth time, so since this place is called Astoria Biryani House I decided to try the Biryani.
I ordered the Chicken Vijayawada Special Biryani. It was HUGE. I could have fed three people with their individual

Best Indian restaurant in the West Omaha area. Their biryani is top notch. I’ve also tried their non-veg thali. It has the right spice level and temperature. Service is awesome. Two ladies at the front desk were amazing. They made sure that everyone is happy with the food they served. I recommend to visit this place and try their authentic food. Can’t wait to try their Bahubali thali once launched.

My sister introduced me to Astoria a month ago and I have been back with my hubby and kids at least 10 times! The food is so flavorful because they use authentic quality spices and basmati rice. The food alone is worth returning for, however, the owners and serving staff are so kind and helpful. This place is a hidden gem that I highly recommend!!

I've been trying to get as much fix of Omaha before moving this month. This place has really great Chicken Masala. The chicken is really tender and the curry spice was at point, es buenooo. Love how the garlic bread has crisp ends but not burnt. The order was 10-20mins and was ready to by time picking them up. The price is comparable to other Indian restaurants in the metro area.

A bit of a slow start getting seated and orders taken, but the staff were very friendly and food came out fairly quick. We ordered the Hyderabad chicken biryani and Hyderabad fish biryani, samosas, and naan bread basket. All the food was fantastic! The biryani entrees are fairly large, easily enough for two people with appetizers. Would definitely recommend!

Best Indian food in Omaha, hands down. Spicy, flavorful, my god it's good. The chicken tikka masala and boneless chicken biryani are our faves, plus their mulligatawny and dosa are great too. Just all around very good stuff. We've done jaipur, flavors, the oven (old market), bunch of other places - this place beats them all.

We got Astoria through Door Dash. The flavors were so amazing! The spice was a little much for my non-spicy child. The other child and I were definitely sweating it out, but we could not stop eating!
The… Paneer 555 was a big favorite! I haven't had goat since I went to Turks and Caicos and it did not disappoint.
Astoria will definitely be a staple, but we may ask for some milder options my older child.

Take out! Take out! Take out! This is not the place to dine in. We've eaten here twice and the service was horrible. The staff was nice, but it was obvious that take-out has priority here. That being said, I will eat here again because the food was a solid 4-star rating.
Pick some up on your way home or have it delivered. It's worth a try.

The food was AMAZING! Huge selection on the buffet and they didn't make it bland/too oriented to the typical Midwest palate. Several items had a spicy kick and lots of them were full of flavorful spices. I literally said "wow" out loud when I took a bite of the butter chicken!! Would definitely go back.

The kids and I had such a fun experience for dinner tonight! We saw that Astoria Biryani House Omaha has a special on Wednesdays for unlimited dosa. What's dosa you say? Well I had to watch a YouTube video before we went to find out.
They are basically like thin crepes with different fillings. You also can go through a buffet for sauces, rice and currys. I really had not a clue what I was doing but they were super nice and helped us out!!
The kids got unlimited peanut butter and Nutella dosa! They just keep on bringing them when you are ready for more!! It was a great way to try a variety

Went over lunch with some coworkers. The atmosphere itself is no frills. You have orange walls with some basic tables and booths. We sat ourselves and were greeted after a few minutes with some water (no ice).
Heads up: You may be racing if you decide to go over lunch. It seemed to be a very popular spot so I can see why there would be a bit of a way. With that being said, it was about a half hour before we received our food. We had to remind the waiter that we ordered naan.
Perhaps I have been spoiled by some great Indian food places but this one seemed alright, nothing too special. I ordered
