Services
Northwest Animal Hospital is a family-friendly practice staffed by a small, personal team of people who love animals. We like to get to know you and your pet like family, and we want you to feel like you're part of our family too. While we offer the most up-to-date services available, we understand that we need to be affordable as well.
Your pets have shorter lifespans than you do, so the importance of their annual physical examinations can't be stressed enough. Complete and thorough checkups and regular preventive care can alleviate many serious health problems. Here at Northwest Animal Hospital, you'll find a wide range of veterinary services that will keep your companion animals feeling their best.
Get your pet's life off on the right start with preventive care and vaccinations from Northwest Animal Hospital. Before your puppy or kitten is exposed to other pets, a complete examination for congenital problems and infectious diseases is highly recommended. Our examination will also help us set a schedule for vaccinations and give you a chance to discuss proper pet care with our staff and to get answers to any questions you have.
Here at Northwest Animal Hospital, we recommend spaying and neutering puppies and kittens between 4 and 6 months of age, but the procedures can be performed in pets of all ages. The term "spay" refers to an ovariohysterectomy - the removal of the ovaries and uterus. Strictly speaking, the term neuter can actually refer to an ovariohysterectomy, but commonly refers to castration - the removal of the testes in dogs and cats.
If your pet is 3 years old or older, there is a good chance it will benefit from a professional dental cleaning from Northwest Animal Hospital. Our careful, attentive procedures will protect your pet while improving its long-term health by addressing tooth decay, abscesses, and other problems. Because around 75% of pets have some degree of dental disease by age 3, dental care is an important part of enhancing the overall health of your pet.

This place is everything a vet's office should be - quick, easy, stress-free for both me and my cat. The staff was really nice and made my cat feel as comfortable as possible, and she's always much more at ease at this vet than she is at others. They also checked prices with me before doing screenings, which is something I really appreciated to avoid a surprise bill at the end of the visit. They walk you through all of the screenings they do, and explain every aspect of an X-ray so you can understand what's going on. They also were able to get me in really quickly as soon as I called and said I

I decided to try this vet because I could walk to it. My truck is in the shop and it was time for Fiona's yearly checkup. Boy am I glad I did. The office staff is phenomenal and the doctor was thorough and super nice.
The vet answers questions I didn't think to ask, but I am so glad he answered my unspoken questions.
Fiona had absolutely NO love for vet visits and while this one was no different, they were gentle with her as much as they could be. They drew blood from her neck instead of her paw and that made a huge difference, she didn't even flinch. However the temperature
