Services
Dr. Ben Cope earned his D.D.S. from Case Western University in Ohio where he founded a humanitarian dental outreach to Peru, eventually serving hundreds of locals. After graduation, he completed a residency at the University of Utah where he received advanced training in placing implants, IV sedation, dental management for the disabled, as well as cosmetic and family dentistry.
Dentist and brother to Dr. Austin Cope. Alumni of Brigham Young University (Bachelor's Degree), and Case Western Reserve University (Dental School). Dr. Ben loves board games, science experiments, and spending time in his workshop doing projects for his house or yard. Dad of four kids, husband of Maggie, Dr. Ben has worked at El Dorado Hills Dental for over 7 years.
Pain: If you have pain in your mouth that makes you think it might be an emergency, it likely is. Severe pain is usually accompanied by swelling as well. Swelling: Mild irritation can result in swelling around the gums. Painful, extreme swelling is a sign that something else is going on, such as an infection.
Dr. Austin Cope and his wife, Lacey, have 4 children, two boys and two girls. Dr. Austin graduated from Brigham Young University, then received his dental degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. During his time in dental school, he was nominated for training of clinical skills for the new dental students in surgical technique.

**Highly** recommend. I was a patient here growing up. When I moved back and met my husband, I convinced him to move his two children to EDH Dental. I had taken them to another local dentist that they had been going to for a few years. That dentist seemed quick to drill and I convinced him to get a second opinion on their teeth. So happy we did. The teeth that the other denist wanted to drill are still perfectly healthy with no fillings or crowns and it has been about 8 years.

I had a dental emergency and called in to their office early in the morning. They were very helpful and offered to see me immediately. I seen by Dr Austin Cope and with their expertise and equipped office staff, my repair work was started and completed in one visit. While in the chair, the dentist gave me the right assurances and progress updates - helping me cope with necessary time in the chair. The dental work performed was free of pain, and I was glad that they could repair, construct, and fit a permanent crown all while I was there. There is no better professional office in my opinion who

I needed an emergency repair and am 4 hours away from the Office for the summer. EDH Dental crew were so very responsive and helpful. They got me in on an appointment right away and arranged with the Lab to do the repair on the same day so I didn't have to make multiple trips. I couldn't be happier with EDH Dental, they are always so helpful and friendly and they came through in a major pinch. THAT is why I drive 4 hours just to see them.

There isn’t a better dental group around! I’ve been a patient of theirs for over two decades. I’ve seen many dentists over the years (moved a lot) and I always come back! They’re wonderful with my kids, and they are honest and respectful every visit.
After my first kid was born, I had to rush in to them for a dental emergency and I had to bring my newborn. She became fussy during my exam, and one of their assistants stood around and swung her in her car seat so I could get the care I needed.
I HIGHLY recommend them if you have kids. They have a special area with kid-sized dental chairs

I go to El Dorado Hills Dental for all my teeth cleanings, and everyone in the office is amazing. Dr. Austin Cope removed my wisdom teeth recently. From the preparation to the post-surgery recovery, everything has gone smoothly. No complications! They've followed up to make sure I'm doing well. I have my regular checkup scheduled with them again in about 5 months. Everyone there is skilled, friendly, professional, and all in the best way possible.

I cannot say enough good things about this office! My dad goes here and after 3 weeks of pain and two dental places not doing what they needed to do, I decided to come here. Kimberly took me in (super early phone call.. sorry Kimberly) without hesitation the same day and they got me in and out in less then 2.5 hours. They truly know what it means to have compassion, care, understanding of what needs to be done and SO much more. I've never had a good experience at the dentist until today. I recommend this office to anyone who may be apprehensive about getting dental work done. While the warm and friendly manner of each person I talked to doesn’t make the potential pain of dentistry go away, there was no pain! I had to get some extensive work and Dr. Austin made it practically painless for me. The whole team of people at the office were wonderful and went out of there way to ensure I was comfortable. They really just took care of me. Don’t hesitate to call El Dorado Hills Dental! You will not be disappointed.
