We live next door to The Madison Bar & Kitchen and we've been looking forward to their reopening for so long! We went there for my birthday dinner tonight and the food was just as delicious as we remember, but with a new flare. The beer steamed muscles were absolutely to die for (drank the leftover broth like a soup) with so much umami flavor. The duck, broccolini and Brussels were also delicious. The cocktails were absolutely phenomenal - definitely worth the slightly higher price for the care, quality and thoughtfulness that goes into each and every one. Thank you to our awesome server

The Madison Bar & Kitchen is delight spot for drinks, all-American eats, and great customer service. We had the pleasure of having Melissa as our waitress. She was knowledge, friendly, and had great recommendations on food, drinks, and things to do after we left the restaurant to keep our night going. It was a pretty warm evening and I needed to cool off, so Melissa suggested the delicious Paloma Slushy—an excellent choice.
I will definitely be back to the establishment, if not for the drinks, just to kick it with Melissa and the other incredible staff members.

Madison Bar and Kitchen has been my go to brunch spot. The atmosphere there is great and it feels very upscale. They have many amazing breakfast options all of which are delicious. Now if you enjoy bottomless mimosas, this is the spot you want to go to because here's a secret...its self pour. YES self pour. This is not your average or typical mimosas no no no they offer a variety of champagnes and rose, three different kinds of juices (peach, orange and I believe pomegranate) and fruit like strawberries and blueberries you can top your drink of with. You feel elegant and classy, while getting

Had a really nice meal here. Lovely decor, really fast/ on it service.
The spicy tuna roll was awesome. Had the salmon entree and loved that as well- glad to say the chimichurri wasn't so overwhelmingly garlicy that I'd be having it for days- most places go way overboard on the garlic. A lovely meal. I silly-dallied too long contemplating dessert though. When I finally decided I wanted to try the chocolate sweet, they had just sold the last piece. Boo. But saved me the calorie indulgence. Otherwise superb experience

I booked the Madison for a work dinner, and it was a good choice. The vibe is hip but relaxed, the room is beautiful, and the menu has a great variety.
We had the rock shrimp & fired cheese curds as apps, and those went over well. Our entrees were all sushi or salads, aside from one person who got the fried chicken sandwich. Everything looked and smelled great. The food was a solid 4.
The drinks were a 5! Luckily we could capitalize on happy hour since we went straight from work, so quite a few Old Fashioneds were consumed. I had the Mind Reader, aka my new favorite drink. So good, so well

Went for brunch and really enjoyed the food. They have bottomless mimosas for $30 so love that. We sat outside back when the weather was nice and it was really pleasant - and we got to bring the dog which was the best. My only complaint is that the service was literally one of the worst I'd ever seen. We waiting outside (no exaggeration) for 30 minutes without being greeted. I finally had to go inside and ask if we had to order ourselves. I would have thought the waitress would have been super attentive after this but we just got more of the same. If we wanted anything we got up and asked

This restaurant draws a really eclectic mix of customers. It's a sophisticated and classy restaurant for sure -- great place to go on a date or to catch up with some friends for a nice dinner. There were people dressed up in sport coats and heels, others were in ripped jeans, and there were even some children at the restaurant! It's a restaurant that caters to all crowds and occasions with very chic interior design. I especially liked the neon lighting above the bar, the mural on the back wall, and the collage of Chicago-themed decor at the front of the restaurant.

Grabbed happy hour here on a Friday before heading to a concert at the United Center. From 5-6:30 they have half-priced glasses of bubble & rose and 3 half-priced old fashioneds. We dug the burger, duck fat fries and cheese curds. Our service was wonderful and drinks came out quickly. For non drinkers they have delightful non-alcoholic drinks like surfers blood. The frozen paloma was a fan favorite in a petite sized glass. I recommend getting a reservation if you want a table, this hot spot fills up fast on weekends!

We dropped in on a whim since our dance class was nearby and decided to try this restaurant out for brunch.
We were seated promptly and I do need to compliment how prepared and child friendly this place is. They had high chairs, bibs, and place mats for toddlers and were able to accommodate minor changes to the food order to fit my daughter's needs.
My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and unfortunately had to return to the kitchen since the chicken was pink / slightly underdone and didn't have the right texture. Overall, would not recommend this dish, the flavor combination

I absolutely loved brunch at the Madison Bar and Kitchen.
The ambience is amazing- this place sets a great tone for a fun start to your weekend.
I had an omelette that was so delicious that I literally sad when I finished it all. (I rarely finish an entire dish.)
I also loved the mimosa bar. It's rare the you get to completely create your own mimosa the way you like it in a restaurant. This was perfect and I loved all the combinations.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to visit again when I'm in town next!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner this past Sunday evening after a long day working. It was our first time in and it won't be our last. What a gem! First the decor was on point, quaint and a little funky at the same time. Then we saw the drink specials: Half price every day from 5-6:30 (they open at 5 for dinner).
And then it went down: My wife got the Rose, and I got what was arguably the best Manhattans I've ever had (they have them in rye whiskey and bourbon; I got the bourbon). Awesome!
Then the food: My wife had the red wine braised beef short ribs, which were tender and delicious

We came here for the bottomless mimosas and this place did not disappoint! The mimosa bar allows you to customize your own drinks — you can pour as much champagne as you want then add orange, guava, or pomegranate juices and garnish with fruit. The food here is great too; I ordered the corn beef hash.

I'be been meaning to come here for a while but finally got a chance last month for brunch.
Ambiance: the pictures on here posted by the Business Owner look grungy and edgy and artsy, but it's more chic when you see it in daylight. It's still artsy though. One of my friends couldn't stop looking at the wall that's painted (?) like a street market view. Each wall looks different. Love it!
Service: our waitress was good. She answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions on what to order. Our food did take a while to come out though. We were super hungry by the

I feel like this may be a hidden gem. I've dinned in the area multiple times, walked passed it multiple times and I have never been there. finally I made a mental note and came for Sunday Brunch and I cannot believe this place has been hiding in plain sight!
It's brunch so my friend and I obviously started with the liquid goodies!! My friend got the Bellini ( she loved it) and I ordered an espresso martini ( whats better than caffeine and alcohol). For food we ordered steak and eggs, chicken and waffles and breakfast potatoes. Everything was good but beyond under seasoned. I had to

Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. Randolph street continued to be where foodies flock, Madison is no exception. Saturday $5 drinks make it even better. Place was slammed but we got in right away with Open Table. Got a $5 Moscow Mule, Cheese curds and the Gouda Jalapeno burger which had just the right amount of heat. Great service cool atmosphere and a good place to check out.

I am so excited that this place is next door to my workplace. I truly cannot find one thing on the menu that doesn't taste truly delicious. I would highlight some of the menu items, but literally everything I've eaten here has been so good that I would be literally just listing the things on the entire menu. I always go with the salmon. It is perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The drinks are also very good here as well!
