Wendy and her incredible team of pediatric dental professionals believe that positive first experiences at the dentist can set the stage for a lifetime of healthy teeth. We work hard to ensure that our practice is kid-friendly, safe, and fun. Dr. Wendy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Not only does Dr. Wendy have additional training in the unique needs of children, but she is also a mother and a doting aunt! Even more, the entire Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry team is surrounded by children in their professional and personal lives. We love children! And we are confident that your child will love visiting us!
Services
At Kentucky Dentistry for Kids, we, along with The American Academy of Pediatrics, The American Dental Association, and The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Visits by this age are an important step in establishing excellent oral health for your child with an emphasis on preventative health care.
Pediatric dentists care for children of all ages. From the first tooth to adolescence, they help your child develop a healthy smile until they are ready to move on to a general dentist. Pediatric dentists have had 2-3 years of special training to care for young children and adolescents.

Research has shown that mothers with poor oral health may be at a greater risk of passing cavity-causing bacteria to their children, and periodontal disease can increase the risk of preterm birth and low birth weight. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends that all pregnant women continue to visit the dentist for checkups during pregnancy.
At Kentucky Dentistry for Kids, we are fully committed to your child's dental needs and are available to talk with you to address any questions you may have. Please feel free to contact us during office hours and one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff members will be more than happy to assist you.

Staff not friendly. So hard to schedule an appointment. Schedule in April to see dentist in September and they didn’t even bother to do a friendly reminder.

My daughter had an accident on her bicycle on Monday and tore up her mouth pretty badly. I didn't know whether to take her to the ER or the dentist first, and called Kentucky Dentistry for Kids first. She was calm when I was not, and asked me to send her a photo so she could advise me. Ten minutes later, we were being taken care of in the office, and 30 minutes later, we were on our way home. I couldn't be more grateful for her understanding and patience while I was absolutely mortified. THANK YOU so much!!!

So when we first started going there, they were great. The staff was very nice. They have a nice waiting room for the kids, and the whole process was well thought out and a good experience for the kids. We had to have a tooth removed for a cavity and some other work done. It ended up being a few thousand dollars with very little help from our insurance. The whole process went very well, we paid them and we thought it was done.
However, several months later we go to schedule a cleaning, and they tell us we aren't welcome there anymore. I was shocked and ask why. They say that we didn't pay the

My 4 1/2 year old son just had his first visit to this office, second dentist visit overall and wow what a breeze it was compared to his old dentist. Amy B was his Hygienist and she was so calm and patient with my son. She took the time to talk to him when he wasn't really wanting anything done and let him touch every tool before using it. Even when he started to play music off his phone to try and distract her she just went with it and started singing and dancing with him to keep him calm and comfortable. I'm so pleased with our visit and we both can't wait to come again. Oh, and, the waiting
