Dr. Linda Gries and her staff welcome you to Crescent Hill Animal Hospital! Located on the bustling, but walkable Frankfort Avenue in Clifton, Crescent Hill Animal Hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care to the Louisville area for over three decades. Dr. Richard Rabek began practicing at Crescent Hill Animal Hospital in 1985.
Dr. Gries has been practicing veterinary medicine in Louisville since 1988. She currently lives in Louisville with her husband, Jim, and their two daughters. They have two dogs, Fern and Redford, and a cat, Sperry. Dr. Berlin joined Crescent Hill Animal Hospital in 2020 and has office hours on Wednesdays and select other days of the week.
Crescent Hill Animal Hospital is a full service Animal Hospital that offers routine monthly and yearly check-ups and examinations of sick and injured pets with complete diagnosis and treatment services. Effective in treating arthritis, degerative joint diseases like hip dysplasia, wounds (surgical and otherwise), lick granulomas, and more!

What a wonderful, compassionate, professional, and very detailed animal clinic! I "inherited" my mother's sweet little 11 year old dog when she lost her battle to cancer earlier this year. The original vet/clinic my mother was taking our dog to closed last year due to the pandemic. Luckily I found Crescent Hill Animal hospital and they accepted us with open arms. Completely satisfied with their exceptional level of service. And I feel very confident that my new best friend is in safe hands. Thank you to *everyone there for helping us during this difficult time. Keep up the FANTASTIC job!

My cat of 12 years recently passed away and I had her put down at another hospital due to timing and location. I took buffy here for a few years and everyone was always so friendly but today takes the cake as… I opened a card in the mail that was signed by the employees here sending their love after my Buffy girl passed . That was so sweet and another reason why I will continue to take my pets here .

When moving to Louisville, I called around for an affordable and reputable vet. I found that Crescent Hill Animal Hospital had the most competitive pricing for office visits so I chose them. Plus, their fear free vet practices sounded appealing!
From… Day 1, they have bent over backwards to ensure that Oliver was well cared for. Even with a booked schedule, they managed to squeeze my dog in to be seen in between patients for an emergent situation. Dr. Gries really takes her time with me and

All Dr.’s at Crescent Hill Animal Hospital are kind, gentle, extremely professional, and knowledgeable. All of the employees are respectful and are able to help with any pet needs! I have been taking my dog here for 4 years now, and wouldn’t recommend any other place in Louisville. Thank you for taking such good care of my doggo☺️

Crescent hill animal hospital has been caring for my fur babies for years. At the beginning of covid, we had to put down my sweet Stella. I was utterly devastated and so were my children. They let us cry (and cry and cry). I was so sad that my mom had to pick up her paw print. I finally got it this week and while I still can’t type this without crying, I wanted to say how grateful I am for all of the staff. Thank you for what you do!!! You are all so wonderful!!!

This place is awesome! I can’t express my gratitude enough. We adopted a 9 year old Scottie who’s previous owner passed away. Rosie (the Scottie) is severely overweight, her coat was matted, and she has a… multitude of other issues. Crescent Hill had her groomed and assessed her health. They communicated extremely well and I could tell that they really cared. I appreciate their hard work and passion.
