My girls have gone to EAH for over 15 years. They are kind and compassionate. They have good hours of operation and try to get you in in an emergency. I have 2 dogs but have in my life had cats I brought here as well. Staff very nice and the doctors very compassionate.

We just moved to Jeffersonville and scheduled an appointment for the end of December. They were super nice on the phone and got all the necessary information. A few weeks after the appointment was made, we found out our cat had fleas, and they were able to get us in immediately, about two weeks earlier than what was originally scheduled. Very professional and the entire staff is very sweet as well. Also very affordable, and they have a payment plan as well that is super affordable. Amazing place, definitely recommend.

I would recommend this facility to anyone!! My dog wasn’t himself, I took him there they ran tests pin pointed the issue in a timely manner everyone is very professional and friendly kept me undated while in there care!! Eastside is inexpensive compared to most places! I highly recommend Eastside Animal Hospital and I will be returning for all my pets needs!!

The care my cats receive from this vet is great, but I've been coming here for 5 years and they can't keep my profile in their system. I made an appointment for my cats today and I'm here when them in the parking lot and the vet techs have had me on hold for ten minutes because they have, yet again, no record of me nor my animals in their system.
I'm kind of mortified that they don't have my animals' health history and I don't think I'll be returning because they can't find any record that I made an appointment.

The staff is very helpful and friendly here. I've been to several Vets to try and find the right one for my fur babies and this place is the only place that I've felt comfortable leaving my dogs at. I feel as if they would care for my dogs the same way they would their own. They're gentle and even if they get scratched by an animal, they keep level headed.

In an emergency last week, I had to call Eastside for my 3 year old Irish setter Fiona. Always healthy and sweet, this 100# girl got terribly sick early in the morning. My vet was understaffed and couldn't… fit her in. Eastside said to bring her in, one hour later, and they would see her. After thoroughly checking everything it was determined she was suffering from pancreatitis and should be kept at least one night for fluids and observation. The next day she came home with her bag of special kibbles and a happily wagging bootie. Thank you so much. She had never been away except for spaying

Eastside has been a great alternative that I should have used all along. I had an established relationship with another vet service in Jeffersonville and couldn’t even get the vets to return my calls upon purchasing a new puppy, thus I called Eastside. Even though I was not a client with them, their vets called me back within two hours, with some answers to questions I had, so I left my old service and moved here, and I’ve never regretted it!

Has went downhill Exam room dirty. Assistant almost dropped dog twice Dr Crum talks fast and only in vet terms and makes you feel rushed. After my baby was diagnosed terminally ill no one ever called to check on him. I canceled wellness program one day after the payment was scheduled and no refund. The manager(Jennifer) hung up on me when I started… to explain the horrible way things have been handled and when I called to ask for corporates # I was hung up on by Samantha. Earlier this week my dad tried to bring his dying dog here, they were still open, but refused to treat his dog because they had “4 patients ahead of us” ; here’s the thing, my dad had been bringing his dog here the dogs entire life, but they wouldn’t help us in his final moments. Instead we had to drive 40 minutes into Louisville, and our dog died… in the car in pain. The front desk employee showed zero compassion & didn’t even give us options.

We had to take our 18-year old cat to Eastside to be put to sleep. This was the first time either of us had to go through this. Everyone was super sweet, very caring and compassionate. They explained the entire process - did what was needed to be done and then we left -heartbroken. A few days later we received a very sweet sympathy card signed by everyone at Eastside. They really didn’t know us but still went out of their way to make our loss their loss as well. We will recommend Eastside to everyone we know. Yesterday we had to put down our Aries. After suffering from fast growing tumor/ cancer. She was in great pain, they got us in 1st thing in the morning and was very kinds and professional knowing what we were… gonna go thru. They treated us and Aries very compassionately. We were able to spend plenty of time with her before and after the procedure. Aries went quietly and peacefully and in no pain. I've taken my dogs here for several months and it's always been great. My dog started having seizures today and Dr. Dungan got us in immediately and spent great quality time on the phone with me- explaining… everything and next steps. I appreciate her so much today! I have never like this hospital as they seam to always sell you procedures and never actual pet care. For the second time I’ve been burned by this place, this last one being the final straw. This place was actually going to perform surgery on my dog bc the X-ray they said showed a penny in his stomach causing all his illnesses. Thankfully I choose… someone else who discovered a piece of partially digested bone that was so brittle they couldn’t remove it bc it fell apart. I can’t imagine how I would have felt if I let them go thru with that surgery only to discover nothing
