Services
Bio : Dr. Aurbach was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his undergraduate education at Mercy College in Westchester, New York, before receiving his D.M.D. degree through Nova Southeastern University in sunny south Florida. Following graduation, he returned to his home state and completed a General Practice Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

At Dr. Aurbach's Old Hook Dental, we provide a full range of general, family and cosmetic dental services for the youngest to the eldest smiles in your family alike. We set out to provide a modern facility that is comfortable and luxurious with a welcoming atmosphere.
At Old Hook Dental we want to be an example of what is possible in dentistry, not just another office. Listing our high standards, ethics and technology we use as part of our mission to us seems redundant - those should be givens. Just as our office and business is different, so will our mission be.
VIPatient is a new service offered exclusively at Old Hook Dental. Doctors offices are notorious for keeping patients waiting for extended periods of time. While we always do our best at OHD to keep our schedule flowing smoothly, there are times that dental emergencies happen, things come up, a procedure takes longer than expected, etc. Patients usually accept long wait times as a given when visiting a doctors office.
General Family Dentistry begins with a thorough comprehensive examination. This gives us all the pieces of the puzzle needed to have a full understanding of whats going on with your oral health and leads us to whatever our next step may be. All new patients should start here for more information on our basic services up to treating oral infections and disease.

I took my dad here for the first time and he had a wonderful experience. Dr. Aurbach is one of a kind! He was patient and thorough. He did a detailed examination, extensive cleaning, and he even made adjustments to my dad's dentures for comfortablilty! His assistant was very personable and the office was spotless, everything we were looking for. We are happy to have Dr. Aurbach as our new family dentist.

Dr. Aurbach took care of me and my teeth like no other dentist. He took his time to check my teeth and filled my cavity pain free, I can't even see it!! Also the cleaning got rid of some staining that was bothering the heck out of me, way better than one of those 5 minute cleanings I used to get at my prior dentist.
