I grew up in Glendale, CA and currently reside in Lakewood with my husband and our Yorkie baby who just turned 11. I enjoy salsa dancing and would love to improve on my cooking skills so that I can host dinner parties for my friends and family. I really enjoy working at Dr. Tawa's office and I am so happy to be a part of the team.

I was referred to Dr. Tawa by a friend who's a longtime patient after I felt swindled by another nearby dentist. What a relief to experience an efficient, straightforward dental office! They're respectful of patients time, I've never had to wait more than a few minutes! And how refreshing to NOT be told I needed to spend thousands of dollars!
They really are a well oiled machine where every persons role is clearly defined and an essential part of the visit. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and seem sincere to help however they can. Thank you Dr. Tawa and team!

I needed to change my dentist immediately from Western Dental. As I research I came across Dr. Tawa office, and let me say everyone was professional and friendly. I appreciate Dr. Tawa being honest and took his time to tell me about my teeth and he referred me to a really great specialist when needing a root canal done. Impressed ! Most definitely staying here as my primary dentist.

I used to dread going to the dentist, so much in fact I would perpetually postpone. I new I needed to go and was convinced by my sister to go to Dr Tawa. At first I was really nervous and embarrassed bc my teeth hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. But Dr and his staff made me feel comfortable right away. I had a deep cleaning and seriously the best cleaning I've ever had. When I went back for my second cleaning I only needed a regular cleaning and my gum scores, not sure the proper terminology, had improved greatly. Had to leave a great review after recent visit. Dr Tawa explained my treatment options very clearly and didn't rush. The assistant that was helping him, I believe her name was Naomi, sorry if I'm wrong, but she was great.The Hygienist seemed super knowledgeable and gave me some good tips on oral hygiene. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Tawa and his staff! They are professional, yet personable and really care about my health and happiness. Working with Dr. Tawa and his staff is always a pleasant experience! They are great about working with my busy schedule. I really feel safe about going into their office since Covid, they take all the safety precautions. I greatly recommend working with Dr. Ron Tawa!

We moved to the South Bay 3 years ago and we are on our 3rd dentist! The previous one was the worst we've ever had and Dr. Tawa is by far the best one! His referral came to us by way of a long time patient who moved away but still comes back for treatment. He announces every single thing he's doing and explains everything he recommends. His office staff is very friendly and it is obvious that everyone enjoys working there. He is located at the end of a strip mall, but signage is minimal so can be difficult to find. I am a complete chicken when it comes to dentists. Dr. Tawa and his hygenist Amanda have helped me work on my dental health by providing a relaxing, no-judgment​ environment and pain-free work. The front office staff is always friendly and accommodating​ when my work schedule changes (or when I have the occasional panic attack in the office). This team is well versed on recent innovations in dentistry and oral hygiene​ without resorting to gimmicks. Can't recommend them enough.

I drive over an hour to see Dr Tawa. He has the most professional and gentle bedside manners I've ever experienced. I've never felt any pain during Novocain shots. His dental work is clean and natural looking.
His office staff is competent, smart and professional. I've never had one bad experience. He's the best!

My family and I have been going to Ronald Tawa for many years and we appreciate the exceptional service and professionalism he and the staff provides. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist but he always has a friendly family feel to his office that welcomes you. We have a bit of a drive to get here from North Redondo but it's worth it to me and my family to have a dentist that we can trust.

I've been going to Dr. Tawa for close to a decade now. My teeth always appreciate the thorough cleaning they get!
Other PROS:
- Easy to park and get in/out of the office, since it's not in a huge medical complex.
- Early morning appointments! I think they can schedule as early as 8am in the morning.

Just recently started going to Dr Tawa's office after searching for a new dentist and I struck gold with this one. From the smiling and friendly office staff to Dr Tawa's excellent assistant and his great dental work you can't go wrong. Jeez I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. I highly recommend this place.

I'm usually too lazy to write a review unless the service provider really screwed up, but Dr Tawa deserve a kudos for being a honest doctor.
I was set to do a new crown here with Dr Tawa. After I mentioned I have irritation on the tooth sometimes, Dr Tawa insisted I went for consultation and sent me to two endodntists.
I ended up getting more than two consultations with varying opinions. One of the endodntists said he couldn't see anything obviously wrong and doing a crown on it was OK.
So I asked Dr Tawa to go ahead with the crown work. Again he insisted getting a written report

Dr. Tawa uses the same equipment (Zoom) as with other teeth whitening facilities. But he does something notably different that yield remarkable results.
Years ago, I visited a dentist and spent north of $700 for teeth whitening. There were no visible results. I complained to him and he gave me another procedure, still with nothing. Since then, I've tried various over the counter products with no success.
I decided to try Dr. Tawa's office through a referral. I really feel like a different person! I

Dr. Tawa has been our family dentist for years. He's kind and gentle and keeps you informed of what he is doing while working on your teeth. He is extremely easy to talk to when you need to make dental decisions, and he always gives you every option possible. His staff is very personable yet professional. The waiting time is practically nonexistent. All of the dental hygienists are great -- no anxiety whatsoever. My overall experiences have been wonderful, and I have highly recommended Dr. Tawa to my friends.
