Services
Peterson Structural Engineers is a single-discipline structural engineering firm, incorporated in 1997, that offers a full spectrum of structural engineering services. We are based on the west coast with offices in Portland, Oregon; Tacoma, Washington; and San Diego, California. Our team of engineers are licensed in more than 30 states across the U.S., in Guam, and in two Canadian provinces.
Peterson Structural Engineers offers a full range of services in all the structural subcategories above, but if you have a project with a scope outside of these areas, please contact us to discuss. We are happy to help. Okay, everything we do is structural design or structural engineering-related but if you want to see an overarching, big picture summary of what we do, you can certainly start here.
Our most common projects are municipal and public facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, water storage reservoirs, waterfront and port facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, parks and recreation facilities, and trail and/or light duty bridges. This gallery is just a mere sampling of the projects we've worked on over the years and what we're capable of.

I really thought this place would be 5 STARS. Boy was I wrong! I was in contact with one of their engineers and I told him about my situation. I stressed that time was very important. He gave me the run down of how they operate (collect $$$). I was shocked that I would be paying that much upfront even BEFORE a site visit but I decided that maybe these guys will be worth it. I agreed to the terms and one of their engineers came in a couple days after. He told me he can help me and he advised me to take a memo he would write to the City of Portland. He should have this done no later than Tuesday
