Becoming a periodontist allowed him to pursue his dreams of excellence in his profession. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Zalewsky completed his Bachelor of Science at John Carroll University, and received his DMD at Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry.

Dr Zalewsky has always done a superb job of maintenance of my dental implants and related bridgework, which are a really complicated case. His dental technician is brilliant and also an interesting conversationalist making time fly during cleanings and checkups. And staff are highly efficient and friendly. I always have a great dental experience there in DC.

I did not feel fully satisfied with the consultation initially. I felt we weren't able to address the particular issue i had come for. I did not end up moving forward with any surgery. However, the office staff followed up and then refunded me for my visit which I think illustrates great customer service and is worth 4 stars. I cannot speak to the skill of the doctors work though I'm sure it is quite good based on other reviews. I will say that the office staff is very customer oriented.

Extremely professional in all regards. Excellent treatment, follow up, staff and post-op support. The staff are friendly, attentive and highly skilled. Dr. Zalewsky was extremely impressive. If I ever have to have surgery of this type again, I will come back here, fully confident that I’ll be in good hands.

I have been impressed every step of the way - from setting up the initial appointment to the consultation and procedure. Every staff member is friendly and approachable. Dr Z is THE BEST - cannot say enough about him. The atmosphere is professional and positive. They managed my expectations and prepared me for the surgery. I can not think of one tiny area in which they could improve. My colleague had the same procedure done a few weeks before and experienced the same level of service. Excellence in each and every aspect of the experience. Bravo.

Dr Zalewsky and his team are amazing!! He saw me same day. He took out my sore tooth immediately - no need to come back again. Dr Z explained everything to me and drew lots of diagrams. His staff were very kind and even looked after my friend who drove me while she waited for me. My dentist told me Dr Z was the best. And he was right! Would not see anyone else. And they even filed my insurance.

I am 2 1/2 weeks out from surgery of my entire upper gums. The surgery went very smoothly, little discomfort. Post surgery, I had swelling managed by icing and, to my surprise, no pain or subsequent bruising. I would recommend Dr. Zalewsky for his clinical work and his staff for smoothly orchestrating the procedure and aftercare visits.

My experience with Dr Z and Marina_the primary hygienist in the practice , has been exceptional. They care very much about patients health and well-being. Dr Z has looked after my gums and has truly made a difference in my life.

This team of professionals is simply far the best! I as well as my family are using this dental office since 1990, first with Dr. Michael Stiglitz and now with Dr. Justin Zalewsky, and every single time I’m getting the high quality dental services and follow up care plus a free bonus in the form of positive, smiley and friendly environment.
