We needed a short (5 month) stay in the area and unfortunately our experience was quite negative overall.
1. The apartment: the unit we got had a strong scent of something medicinal or even vape-like that we could never get rid of with air purifiers, cleaning the walls, Febreze, etc. The apartment was also dirty when we first moved in: dusty floors, walls sticky with residue, cobwebs on the balcony and front door.
2. Maintenance: The complex is very unkempt overall and poorly maintained: artificial ponds filled with algae, flooding sprinklers turning lawns into mud, cobwebs in the parking stalls

When I first looked into moving to Stockton, I was pretty hesitant considering well, it’s Stockton, but when I walked into the office at Waterfield Square Mercedes and Taylor made me feel like I was in a safe and comfortable environment. Very professional young ladies and the customer service provided convinced me that maybe moving here won’t be so bad. Thank you ladies for the reassurance !

Don't rent here. Management takes sweet time to reply to any messages, lived here barely a month and already had contractors coming in "repairing" a moisture problem and tore down the ceiling leaving a huge whole in it. Been a month and still isn't repaired. Not worth half the rent they charge. Honestly ridiculous.
Also they obviously don't mind tenants leaving their inoperable vehicles in the complex which is annoying because there's already limited parking and those vehicles take up space.

We moved in about 2 months ago and the experience so far at this apartment complex has been below par. The biggest issue is the lack of communication. A month ago, after a big storm, we received notices that maintenance needed to inspect the apartment to check for any water damage. We were not given a 24 hour notice like it outlines in the rental agreement. The sign appeared on our door after 6pm and they were expected to come the next day around 8am. They found water damage in the master bedroom and we were told that they would first need to put in industrial dehumidifiers and if that did not

The maintenance team here has really been what has made renting here worthwhile. I have experienced a few incidents here and there with security, which is why I'm only rating 3.5 stars, however, Gabriel M., one of the maintenance guys here always goes above and beyond to make sure my apartment is in tip top shape! He also helped me install my license plate because I didn't have the appropriate tools to do so! The new kitchen faucet he just installed also looks and works like a dream! Please give this man a raise! Thanks!

Do Not rent here.
The maintenance here is unprofessional and rude. I submitted an emergency work order online Sunday morning at 8 am for leaking in my bathroom which caused my floor to flood. I did not receive any response yesterday and I walked around the complex to locate the maintenance guy but did not get any help.
Today, I called the at 8 am office after multiple failed attempts and learning the office didn’t open until 10. I walked around to find the maintenance guy and finally he came to look at my unit. He entered my unit without a mask so I left for a few hours and came back to a whole
