Dr. Diane Hines graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan in 1983. She is a lifelong resident of the metro Detroit area. She received a B.A. degree in Psychology in 1979 from the University of Michigan. Later, Dr. Hines worked in the private sector for various diverse dentists.

A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic X-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Hines and her staff! From the moment I walked in for a consultation everyone was so friendly and attentive. Dr. Hines displayed great knowledge and compassion during my visit and was thorough in answering all my questions. Let's not forget her radiance! Honest and ethical, traits so rare in medical professionals today. I gladly say, I have finally found my forever dentist, and recommend anyone struggling to find one, to call and schedule an appointment with Dr. Hines.
