Outstanding veterinary care! My cats have received excellent care from each of the veterinarians in this practice. Every interaction I have had with each member of the staff has been kid, caring, and professional. They are thorough in their explanation of treatments and provide different treatment options when appropriate. I fully trust them to provide great care for my kitties.

Neutered my dog, cleaned my cats teeth, and helped with a minor cat skin issue. Everything had been great and no major problems! Would recommend! They also have been helping us keep our pets up to date on shots and preventative care. I think it’s worth the slightly higher cost, for quality animal health care!

My Basset Hound had a swollen and sensitive cheek that came on quite suddenly. They were wonderful to get her in quickly, thoroughly checking her out, running some tests and scheduling surgery. Everyone I met and spoke to was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. They also were so sweet to my girl Zsa Zsa and that really put me at ease. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

They are all just very caring and sensitive. I had to have my sweet little girl Abby put to sleep and I have never been through that before. And then I adopted a rescue dog and they were very good about checking him. He came with his own issues and I really depended on them. We just moved several states away and I hope I can find as good a vet in our new home state

This team always takes great care of my dog whether its a scheduled exam, or an emergency visit. I still drive thirty minutes to their office even though there are vets closer to me that I could use. I feel comfortable that they're treating my little guy with thorough and attentive care. The office staff and vet techs are always GREAT and are very pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend this vet for anyone in the area!

This was my first time coming to this hospital. I'm new to the area and have been struggling to find a vet that I trust with my kittens care. Very friendly and professional staff. Was nice that I was able to come inside and meet Dr Gillard in person during these covid times. Vet tech Adelaide is amazing, knowledgeable and very compassionate. Will definitely be returning.

I cannot rave about Legacy Drive Animal Hospital enough! Dr. Unruh and the entire staff are amazing and took the best care of my dog when he was very sick. They got me in immediately when I called and were thorough at finding out what was wrong with my Rex. I received constant communication and know he got the best care in their hands. He ended up having to stay in Dr. Unruh's care the whole day then transferred to the Emergency Hospital of Collin County for overnight care (another great experience) and Dr. Unruh made sure the ER vet had all the reports and test results to make sure Rex got

My pets and I have been depending on this veterinary organization since 1984 starting with Dr. Pierce and these doctors and their assistants are the very best you can find anywhere. They are extremely knowledgeable and no matter how complex the problem is they will convey it with respect and kindness. Their office staff is fantastic too. If you want the best for your pets this is where you take them.

Awful experience!!! Major surgery on my dog and given basically ibuprofen. Had to spend additional 550 at Vet ER for her pain and the ER doctor said she should have never been sent home without something stronger for pain. Then they charged me for a follow up visit after surgery to just look at her. I ended up removing sutures and staples. Bad doctor Bad ethics. I'm on disability for west Nile and they ripped my head off. They don't care about your animal they wouldn't give my dog her ear medication prescription because of all their after care charges. They should be turned over

We love Dr. Shiplov! She has taken care of our elderly, diabetic, and blind dog, Rusty for a few years now. Multiple emergent trips to see her where we have been extremely worried about him. Her bedside manner is pleasant and comforting. She, and all of the staff there, are all genuinely caring and will go out of their way to do whatever they can to make sure your pet family is well taken care of. We recently and unexpectedly lost our 185 lb Neapolitan Mastiff, Belladonna. It was heartbreaking for my daughter and I. A couple days later, we received the most thoughtful and kindest sympathy card

I was in a pinch and needed to find a vet for my cat who all of a sudden became very ill. This vet was able to get him in Saturday morning, and the vet immediately knew what was wrong with him. He stayed the weekend at the vet, I was able to get him Monday late afternoon. He seems to be doing well! The rates I'm sure was a lot higher than other vets, but they took care of him. I'll definitely come back. The staff was really friendly including Chester the cat!

I have been bringing my cats here for years, and I still do even after moving out of Plano. I trust Dr. Gillard implicitly with their health due to his experience and expertise. Dr. Gillard is also soft-spoken, which is important to me with my cats who don't love loud noises. The vet technicians and front desk employees are kind, helpful and exceptional. They always make sure to have the supplies in stock I need for my diabetic kitty, and have even stayed open a few minutes late on occasion when I couldn't get here from work by 6pm. They are open for a half day on Saturdays, which

I thought this was a good place to take my yorkie. Come to find out all they care about is money and lots of it. I had an appointment for a heart worm test and to get her heart worm medication only to find out after I got there she could have her test but I could not buy heart worm medication without a full exam. Even if the test was negative. They could have told me this over the phone. If you have lots of money to waste at this place then this is the vet for you. I give them no stars and will be looking for a new place to take my baby.

Our family moved to Plano from Dallas less than 2 years ago. I had gone to the same vet for 20 years, but he's 30 miles away now. In the time we have been here, we have adopted a cat who had worms and other issues, our older cat had a skin problem, and our female cat developed calcium stones that got trapped in her urethra with urine that backed up in her abdominal cavity requiring two surgeries. I was nervous using a new vet, but Dr. Gillard and his staff were terrific with all my animals and with me. We nearly lost our female cat to cardiac arrest, but Dr. Gillard got her heart going, and

Very disappointed with this clinic, esp Dr. Brewer. I have a puppy who needed to be neutered. So I called them 4 days before to set an apt. They told me it ll be 200$ for surgery plus 50$ for painkillers. 4 days later I went there to check him in for his surgery. It turned out I needed another 100$ blood test to make sure he is healthy enough for anesthesia. And of course they were trying to sell me bunch of other unnecessary stuff. So before the surgery my total was 340$. Dr. Brewer said I can pay after the surgery and took my pup to the back. When I got back to pick him up they told me I

Please do not take your pets here.

I made the mistake when we took my yorkie in because we were concerned that she had a uterus infection. Dr. Gillard sent us home saying she was fine before examining her or doing any tests. Instead he charged us for numerous things we did not ask for including over-priced heart guard medicine. They also docked us $15 dollars for what took 2 mins to trim nails my dog's nails. We brought along our other puppy to inquire about a neuter and left with a mandatory puppy exam we didn't need, cough pills that didn't work. Dr. Gillard even gave us an empty

This is an amazing veterinary clinic. I began taking my long-haired Maine coon cat her about 2 years ago. The staff is always friendly and I feel comfortable leaving him at the vet while I am at work.

My pet get a lion's cut as he is older in age. Not many people groom long-haired cats. Before bringing my pet to this clinic, I visited several other groomers and vets. I always had a different groomer or I would get sent to another location. Here, my pet is comfortable and never acts out. I see no other alternative in pet care!!
