I signed my lease on January/29/2021 I moved out before I could even move in I was told by Derrick the property manger that everything has been cleaned and there were no pest well when I walked in to the apartment is was a complete mess everything was extremely dirty the cabinets and dishwasher were broken the Sheetrock on the walls were completely destroyed and there were roaches on the kitchen floor so when I called derick he came to the unit and tried denying that they were roaches when he was looking at them then he picked one up looked at it and threw it back on the ground well after 30 min

I write my reviews prior to publication to provide an unbiased opinion as possible. On occasions, after my preliminary review is written, I do have to add to my review due to incidents that occur after my initial writing of the review.
I was an applicant at these apartments but I did not make it pass the application phase so I am not able to review the quality of living here.
Pros

- There were no hidden fees not listed on their website.
- Friendly and knowledgeable manager. He was taking notes which reassure me that he does

I have been living at Shelfield Apartments for four years now, and with the new manager I have seen a lot of improvement to the property. The new manager has been doing a great job to the property, I see him every day cleaning and maintaining the place so well, there has been so many things being done like the pool just got remodeled, the additional exterior lighting , the landscaping well managed, and so much more. The new manager is very pleasant and is always available to attend to issues on the property. I personally recommend any one looking at Shelfield to come check it out, it is a great

My wife and I have lived at Shelfield for ten years, and we have no plans to leave. The courtyard environment is quiet and peaceful, the grounds are well maintained, and the caliber of tenants is overall quiet and considerate. Management has always been very attentive; repairs and maintenance is taken care of quickly, though we have had few reasons to call for maintenance. The current manager can frequently be seen walking the property, which is an excellent sign that things are being looked after. This is a nice place to live.
