I was sent to Johnny's Repair due to one of Discount Tire's employees driving my truck with the parking brake engaged and damaging the rear brakes. The Store Manager of Discount Tire was on vacation, so the Lead Employee, Justin, called CJ at Johnny's Auto and told CJ we were heading that way (at this time, I did not know that CJ and Justin from Discount Tire were friends). After CJ took a look at the rear brakes, he called his friend Justin at Discount Tire and said this could be from just "wear and tear," and Discount probably was not at fault. Man these people are professionals! I just moved to Lake City from St Petersburg where I had a great mechanic. I needed my brakes done and brought to these folks simply because they were the closest place to where I work. Man did I get lucky. A week later my truck started running really rough and I brought it back in. They got it fixed the same day and used OEM parts without having to be asked. I'll never take my vehicles anywhere else. I can't tell you how happy I am that I found this place!

The alternator went out, on my way from Michigan to AMI FL. I pulled into Johnny's @ 15 minutes to closing, on Friday afternoon. The crew diagnosed, got the part delivered, installed, and sent us on our way @ 6:20.

My current shop in Ft Myers FL, had a mix up on staffing during the New Years weekend. Therefore, my appointment for the importaint oil change before a 2300 mile trip out west was cancelled.
I passed near Lake City, off 75 and needed the matter resolved Immediately via Yelp. Jennifer answered and said" Let me check, then said ..c'mon in!" and I deverted immediately to there. I was in a jam as an RV traveler and that's one of their top priorities! Get up ,running and back on the road!
My mechanic Robbie, the most nicest young man. An asset to any shop! Another young lady

We were driving from Dallas to Orlando when something came loose under our car on I-75. We found this place on our map and stopped there. Even thought they were busy, they took the time to fix our problem and get us on our way again. Greg, I believe was the manager who took care of us. By the way the staff treated each other and other customers, I could tell this is a great place to go.

We have a Ford F350 and went to Johnny's thinking that we would need a new transmission. The technician that worked with us, took his time with diagnosis, he found out that a fan wasn't plugged in when we had the oil cooler replaced. Anyone else would have told us that we had to replace the transmission. Johnny's is the place to go. They care about doing great work on all vehicles, plus their diagnostic knowledge is incrediable. Thank you again, we will bring our vehicles to you from now on.

This past Sunday, my 09 Camry broke down in the middle of Osceola Forest....a complete dead zone.
I was able to get it towed by Ozzie's (5 stars) to Johnny's.
I was sort of stranded in Lake City at the Holiday Inn(5 stars).
Aaron and his boys took excellent care of my baby, as I travel full time for work.
The engine cost me a fortune BUT....they got my engine done in an expeditious fashion and that will never be forgotten

When my son and his buddies broke down in Lakeland on a Sunday they tried to do repairs on their own. While they were repairing I was looking for a shop on my end looking on the internet reading reviews. The repairs were more than they could handle so I called Johnnies. He gave the name for a tow and said he would be in Monday morning and take a look. After diagnosing the problem he was able to get the part quickly and had the boys on their way. While traveling in my RV from Tampa to NY; my RV broke down, and needed to be towed in. It was a Saturday, and the tow truck driver indicated that I might need to find a hotel as it was midday and most automotive places would be closed. He towed us to Johnny's, and they were just pulling down the overhead doors to close. Once the tow driver spoke with them, they opened up the bay and had us go into the waiting area. They got the part and had us up and running with in an hour! God Bless them! They were wonderful, and clearly understood my situation. I cannot give enough positive feedback

We left Orlando December 24th to visit family in Lake City for Christmas after getting the battery replaced on our Honda Civic. Having arrived safely, we attempted to go shopping the day after Christmas. The car wouldn't start and it appeared the battery terminal was cracked. Not wanting to attempt a DIY repair in the driveway, we got the car towed to Johnny's. Despite having all bays full in their garage, Johnny's addressed our car immediately and got us in and out in under 15 minutes for far less money than anticipated.
