As you may know speeding +20mph in the state of Virginia is a class 1 misdemeanor crime which is the last thing you want in your records. I had a 80/45 ticket and was so scared. Exceptional is the best word to describe the service of Legal Defense Center, specifically Monte Kuligowski. Although a bit more costly than other attorneys, the cost was well worth it. On May 31, 2021 I was passing through Southampton County (Courtland) Virginia and heading back to North Carolina. The Sheriff was parked to the side with his blue lights flashing. During that time he did not have anyone pulled over. He had just finished writing someone else a ticket! When I saw the Sheriff parked to the side I reduced my speed 10 miles below the speed limit because I know how they operate in this area. Let's be honest and just except the fact the life can take someone to situations that never thought (someone) can find themselves. He did nothing for my case and robbed me of 1000 dollars. I was charged with a DUI from a police who had retired and was no longer on the force. The case could have been thrown out on day 1 of court but he insisted I keep coming back until he received his whole fee. Hence in the email below before the case is closed. I talked to several other attorneys who agreed and wondered why he kept pushing the dates back. I never received a discovery package and he then told me he would not represent me no more.
