In an effort to provide quality care to our patients while minimizing the risk of transferring disease person-to-person, we are continuing to operate as a "curbside" service.
We ask that all owners remain outside the building in their cars while we bring the pet into the building for examination and services. Please park in our west parking lot (by the brick building) in a designated spot with a sign. A technician or vet assistant will take your pet's history over the phone and then come outside to retrieve your pet.

Services
The Animal Hospital of Kentwood is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. Surgical Services: Our surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, declaws, mass removals, abdominal and exploratory surgeries, eye surgery, cruciate repair, thyroid removal, as well as many others.
We operate on an appointment based schedule. We try to reserve time each day for potential emergency/urgent cases. If an emergency or urgent case presents itself, it will always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments. Walk-in patients will be seen as time allows.
We are proud to be members of the Veterinary Information Network, or VIN. VIN is an on-line group of thousands of veterinarians who share medical knowledge and experience. VIN allows us to consult with and have X-rays and digital images examined by boarded specialists in their fields. On-line continuing education, journal updates and case studies are also available.

Best place on the southeast side of the area. We have been coming here for almost 10 years with both our dogs. Front staff is great at scheduling, even same day. Assistants are wonderful and caring with our… babies. Doctors are so knowledgeable and fantastic in the care of our pups. One of our dogs experienced a seizure and the care they provided was outstanding. Our 15 year old Lab mix passed away recently and they sent us this lovely flower arrangement. They truly love their patients and owners ❤️

Made an appointment and had to reschedule. They scheduled me for the same time but the actual appointment wasn't for that time and now I have to re-reschedule and my rabbits won't get the care they need.

The staff were flexible and about to get schedule my cat for a consult and tumor removal. The consult and exam were thorough, and the surgery was well done. Chester has recovered well. We returned in a week for a suture removal and that went well as well. Friendly and empathetic staff. Very knowledgeable doctors. Thank you for caring for my Chester.

I can’t say enough good things about this vet! They are helpful, kind and caring. They will make sure your pet can receive an appointment as soon as possible and give them the best care. When we had to put our oldest cat down, they not only were compassionate but also send a card & plant to our home. Daniel, who usually answers the phone, is not only an amazing employee but an all around great, respectful and dependable person. Prices are decent as well. Thank you!

All the staff are so kind, and I am very thankful they were able to see my pet as a new patient because no one else could for several weeks. I will come back to post a review after my pup gets seen on May 13. 4 days from today. However I just wanted to post about my experience with female who answered the phone. I did get set up with an appointment and did her best to try and answer questions. I wasn’t disrespected but she didn’t make me feel welcomed.

Very friendly staff, amazing to the pets as well as the humans! We took our pitbull in as he was not doing well, after spending sometime in here they did refer us to the animal hospital. While here you watch for the vet cat, she seems to love attention and to be played with! Great place to take your pets!
