Like many of you, I ain't from around these parts.! I was stationed here as a Navy pilot, and when I retired, I became a Virginia resident. I think life is good in Hampton Roads. My own small hometown in Kansas has now grown to a bustling population of 331, but it was less urban in my youth! My Midwestern family has been farmers and blue collar workers for as far back as we know.

Their knowledge of law in regards to child custody and military matters is negligible. Attorney advised my daughter should be happy spouse not going for military retirement when they had not been married for the 10 year standard. Lack of knowledge of irs rules for dependency with a military parent who provides greater than 1/2 the support. Lack… of follow up on filings unless called. Trying to bill for work due to lack of follow up. Advised other party’s discovery was unnecessary. I could go on but I think this is the gist of the legal qualities .

Working with attorney John Dooley and Holcomb Law has been the best experience that I have ever had using an attorney. I was having a custody/visitation issue and when I tell you that I got everything that I paid for and then some. The office staff is very professional and they always return phone calls and emails promptly. John listened to me and gave me realistic expectations. He explained things on a level that I could understand. I won my case and got more than what I even expected out of it. Hopefully I never need an attorney again, but if I do I know who to call.

I called their office on Tuesday, 02/16/21 at 8:39am. The employee that picked up asked for my name number and details of what I needed a lawyer for. A simple traffic ticket. I was told I’d get a call back from a lawyer the follow day which would of been Wednesday. It is now Friday, 6:30pm and I have received no call. Seems very unprofessional to me. I understand if your lawyers are busy, but could you of at least given me a courtesy call to let me know they are unavailable so I could start looking for another lawyer instead of having me wait for a call back.
