Revising my review taking away one star. Just got a delivery and the tuna is not fresh! Yuck!
I've been going here for years, through many management changes. When the Manager Ellen has to ask the sushi chef whether or not to charge extra for the slightest change, after also being harrassed over a $3.00 extra charge, they make up for the 'waived' charge by charging me $3.50 for a tiny bowl of sushi rice! They are not smart business people nor do they treat their customers with respect. What they gained on the extra sushi rice charge, they've lost $100's in business! Otherwise, food is ok. Customer

I live locally and love Asian cuisine. I have dined at Bamboo Asian Tapas in Glenville, CT and ordered take out. While my food when dining in has been very good my experience with take out has been disappointing.
1) Food delivered to wrong address. Neighbor had to hope it was us, and delivered to our door.
2) Ordered Yellow Tail & Scallion roll and almost choked on a BONE. Not cool!
3) Last experience, 6/24th/2021. Brought a large take out order to family, a special celebration for us. My son started to eat his Steamed Lobster roll and stopped to show us the black hair he found in the roll.

Ordered food from then through uberEats and the order was accepted and they were working on it. I called to tell them about an allergy but they said they don't use UberEats but how is that possible when the order got accepted! As soon as i drop the phone I receive a message saying they can't finish my order. Basically I'm hungry, annoyed and bad customer service through the phone I would hate to experience this when I go dine-in.

Great food but unreliable, poor service. I came here during the summer with my family and it took about 20 minutes to get a glass of water and for the waitress to even initially come to the table. I have ordered delivery here multiple times without issue aside from tonight, when an item was forgotten and I was told that I “must have forgotten to order it.” After the delivery man returned with my original order list, they did apologize and said they would send the item out right away for delivery, however it took nearly an hour to receive and we were long finished with our meal. Will think twice
