I hired this firm/guy to do my taxes last year. Asked him specifically to review it with me before filing. Send reminder emails as well as voice mails. One fine day I get this notification my tax has been filed and I owe him the dues. Called him up on why he filed it without me reviewing and all I got back was arrogance - he is a CPA, been doing this for 17 yrs blah blah blah. But not a hint of apology.
When I'm paying for a professional service, I expect some professionalism and courtesy. Make your own conclusions here...and your mileage might vary.
