I am excited to be a part of Nisqually Reach Family Dentistry! I strive for excellence in patient care and am proud to be in a practice where the principles of gentleness, conservative treatment and preventative dental care are paramount. My wife and I are natives of Federal Way, WA. I graduated from Federal Way High School in 2001 and went on to receive my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in 2008.
I am so happy to be a part of the team at Nisqually Reach Family Dentistry! I am looking forward to helping you with any questions you may have. I started my career in dentistry as a clinical assistant over 25 years ago and have transitioned to the front office over the past 15 years. I am here to make your experience with Nisqually Reach Family Dentistry a pleasant one and I am looking forward to meeting you.
I graduated from the Clark College Dental Hygiene Program in 2018 with my Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work at both general and pediatric practices before coming to call Nisqually Reach Family Dentistry my office home. I love getting to know my patients and answering questions to help them achieve the best possible oral health.
I have been a dental assistant since 2000 and received my Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary license in 2014. It is very important to me to stay up to date on the newest materials and techniques to pass on to our patients. I enjoy helping people and take pride in making our patients feel comfortable at every visit.
Nisqually Reach Family Dentistry has three wonderful and talented hygienists who are dedicated to improving your oral health and making your dental visit a positive experience. Each of our hygienists is knowledgeable about the latest in dental hygiene products and techniques. They will be happy to answer any questions you might have about your oral health.

I've worked in dental for almost 10 years. Now I do it from home, but I'm still very particular about who is touching my mouth. This place was fantastic! Super easy to schedule an appointment over the phone. Did my paperwork online ahead of time and walked back into my appointment. My hygienist, I can't remember her name but it started with D, was so sweet and gentle. She offered all sorts of tips as we are new to the area. Walked me through exactly what she was doing every step of the way as well. Dr. Smith came in for the exam and we talked a bit about travel and my home state of Michigan. Exam

I had a persistent toothache after dental work in Yuma.
I called Nisqually Reach as a new patient and they got me in the next morning. Dr. Wood made a minor adjustment to a crown and the problem was solved.
My wife and I had exams and cleaning later that month. We were both impressed with the dentists and staff. They were friendly, competent and took appropriate protective measures regarding Covid.
This is one of the best, if not the best, dental practice I’ve been to. I highly recommend Nesqually Reach Dental.

Came in as a new patient today and had the best experience! Scheduling was easy and the front staff was very nice. Caitlin, the hygienist, was great and very knowledgeable! Appreciated all her hygiene advice. Dr B was nice, kept it short and sweet! (I didn’t have any concerns so I’m glad it was an easy exam) So glad I found a great dental office :) also left with a new electric toothbrush - love that!

I have been going to Yelm Dental since I was a kid and now to see familiar faces and doctors here was convenient and nice! I had just gone in to get my teeth cleaned and Caitlin was so gentle and comforting during the entire process! I saw Dr. Smith and as a dental student myself I enjoyed talking about our experiences! I drive all the way from Seattle just to go here, so definitely would recommend! :)

I was really impressed with this office. I found them since they are close to my house and checked out reviews first and am so happy I found them. I don't really like going to the dentist but didn't have any negative experiences and actually felt comfortable. My hygienist Caitlin was super sweet and friendly. She talked to me throughout, but never had me awkwardly try to talk while she is actively working on my teeth. The office looks clean and well cared for. The staff is all really friendly and most importantly they seem to be a very honest dentist office, which sadly I haven't always been able
