There's good news for an estimated 65,000 Oklahomans with certain prior felony convictions. In 2018, State Question 780 reduced some felony charges to misdemeanors. Since 780 was not retroactive, previous convictions remained classified as felonies. House Bill 1269 has solved this problem. The new bill also helps by making more Oklahomans eligible for expungement.

Clint did an awesome job. I wasn't looking forward to having to deal with an attorney, but he was very up front and informative about every step of the process and what kind of time frame it would take. Even with all the COVID shutdowns, he stayed in contact with me regarding the progress with the courts. Everything was finalized and the results were just what was represented in the beginning. Clint James is the most incredible attorney I have ever worked with. A very personable guy, he has called me many times just to let me know small details that may be important to me, and explained everything I needed to do very clearly. He really went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. He does a lot more than you would expect for an attorney. We encountered a couple unique problems during legal processes (that looked like deal breakers) and Clint was able to negotiate his way through all of them.
