Best I can say at this point is "inhuman robots". What happened to the point where people can separate from the black and white of a computer and being human? I was super hopeful when I purchased a gift certificate from this location only to find that the location was not where I thought it would be for the recipient. I requested that they please cancel the transaction PRIOR to the order being completed but unfortunately, the location is closed Monday and Tuesdays. This morning, they processed my transaction before acknowledging my numerous requests to cancel. Now, I understand my shortfall here

I had a great experience with Loretta and Frances. My husband booked the great escape package and it was amazing. Worth every penny and I will be back. I had my spa experience on 10/17 and waited to see how I felt and how my skin reacted to the products before writing my review. I also had a glow that lasted all week and felt refreshed. Great products, great people, and an awesome experience. Much needed!

I would have loved to book at this spa but the customer service I received from the receptionist was absolutely awful. I read great reviews about the experience, so it was very disheartening to speak with Savanah and feel completly turned off from giving my business to this spa.

I was fortunate enough to receive a gift certificate from a dear friend for a massage at Fountains Day Spa. I had never been there before; historically I have gone to other day spas in the area. I loved my experience at Fountains Day Spa from the moment I booked my appointment, to leaving after my service. They have wonderful customer service and I felt it from every staff member that I encountered. I appreciate the safety measures they have taken to protect against COVID and how smoothly ran everything was. My massage with Emily was wonderful. I will make time to return again soon.

Massages and facials are always very good. But the front desk staff leaves much to be desired. Very short and unfriendly, before and after massages. I've been coming here for years, at least twice a year and every birthday. Sad to say I will not be returning or making future recommendations, as I have done so often.

Amazing service and Covid safe!
My husband and I had treatments for the first time here today and it was great. We very much appreciated all the Covid safety measures and I felt very safe throughout. I had a acai mud body wrap and it was heaven (Thank you Carla!) My husband also very much enjoyed his massage. We will definitely be back!

Fountains was my first stop post COVID vaccine last month after reviewing their COVID protocols online, which seemed appropriate. I proudly told my therapist that I had been vaccinated as a healthcare worker and finally felt comfortable coming in for a session. Her response was to tell me that she had the opportunity as a licensed professional to be vaccinated but declined and "wasn't that into western medicine" and spent a significant portion of the session asking me questions about the vaccine. Fountains Day Spa is wonderful. They take every precaution to ensure the safety of everyone that enters their doors. Everything is clean and beautiful. Even though this spa is in Old Town, there is free easy parking all around! I loved my deep tissue massage so much, I booked another service for next month. Everyone at Fountains was so warm and friendly, I felt right at home and even BETTER after my massage. This is the place you want- support local businesses.

My fiancé surprised me on our "supposed to be wedding day " with a trip to fountains day spa. We both got deep tissue massages with reflexology and it was amazing! I felt like a completely new person after the massage, and the reflexology service was so worth it- my masseuse was spot on when she asked me if I drink enough water, and was actually able to pinpoint that I was dehydrated through the reflexology portion of the massage. Fountains day spa also does a fantastic job at ensuring all of the necessary Covid precautions are adhered to, while also making you feel as relaxed as possible

Make sure you call before going inside. We were promptly booted out and had to stand in freezing weather (literally) for 20 minutes before they let us in. Unless there is a secret back door, nobody left before we were told we could come in and oddly, there were people waiting in the lobby when we left. (bit shady?)

JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!! I haven’t had a massage in a couple years so I wanted to treat myself for my birthday. I researched the best spas in Northern VA and came across Fountains Day Spa. I’m so happy I did! First and foremost, they consider everyone’s health and safety. You call in first to make sure there’s no overcrowding, I appreciated that and once inside (wearing a mask, of course), washed my hands and I didn’t have to wait even a minute before my masseuse, Carla, greeted me and took me to my room, where the healing began. I have been going to Fountains Day Spa for several years. I wasn't sure what to expect during these challenging times of covid. The protocols followed made me feel completely safe. I always see Marjorie for my hot stone massage. I have had many people over the years and Marjorie is absolutely the best. Her professionalism and technique is amazing. There are plenty of spa's near me but it is so worth my while to travel the extra miles to this wonderful spa in Alexandria. Thanks for the relaxing experience.

I had some free time today and had been pondering about book a reflexology session. Thankfully a space was available. Courteous front desk that went over all the Covid questions etc. This was very comforting.
Free 2 hour parking was a huge plus.
My therapist was Francis who did a brief overview of reflexology without getting bogged down in the details.
My session was very thorough. Francis was used the perfect amount of pressure.
Honestly, I think the only negative was the size of the service room. Not a big deal but I guess I'm more concerned about the space the various therapists have
