My husband and I (Pre-Covid) used to get a lot of massages. Today, Asher gave me one of the best massages I have ever had, he was magnificent,! His pressure was great, technique was amazing, and just an all around great massage. Sadly we are moving out of the area but if I wasn't, he would be my go to guy for sure!!!!

LOVE AMT!!! I go twice a month and I experience a Consistently amazing deep tissue massage every time!!! Hands down best in old town!!

The therapist are so nice and welcoming. My first massage I was very nervous but they’re so accommodating. The receptionist who answered the phone was so nice and funny, thanks River! I will definitely be back! 😁

Edit: Within 8 hours of posting this I called again, and have been called by the staff and manager and given a refund. I'm revising the rating from 1* to 2* for resolving.
I've been a long time customer of Alexandria Massage Therapy (my first massage from them was in 2016), but now in 2021 I'm going to have to find somewhere new to get massages. This review is about a couples massage I purchased for my wife's birthday, and how AMT will not honor what was purchased, and the manager will not return my calls to discuss it.

AMT is in an old row home. The ambiance isn’t very spa like so just be prepared for that if you are looking for a spa. The room was cold and my masseuse was super nice but seemed very inexperienced and the massage matched. She was really nice and very attentive but the actual massage left much to be desired. I don’t think this is the place for me but clearly others really enjoy it. I just didn’t get what I needed.

Truly excellent massage therapists are not a dime a dozen. It can be difficult to find a therapist who is capable of identifying the root cause of the pain and also skilled enough to successfully address its source. I cannot recommend Alexandria Massage Therapy enough.To be honest, I cannot remember ever receiving a better, or more healing, massage - and I'm not a newbie in the search to find a massage therapists to help me with chronic pain. I have only been going to AMT for a few months but I have had excellent experiences every time. Maggie is fantastic and I cant recommend her highly enough. AMT has implemented a thorough safety protocol upon entry and during the massage.

Great massage therapists for deep tissue, sports massage, and more! It took three years for me to find a massage therapist in the ALX area that would be a good fit for my athletic goals but I finally found them here. They are a key part of my preventative medicine....whether you are tight from sitting in an office, hitting the pavement, or building strength, these guys can help untie those knots and ultimately help keep you from injuring yourself.
