Food was awesome. Went there so the kids could use the arcade. All the games were out of order. Was disappointed.

Just eh. My sons fries were super hard. Asked for new ones, they were the same. They got our drink order wrong. Food was bland.

Awful experience! The food was not good. The Alfredo sauce came out oily and separated and then when we complained the waitress stopped coming to our table. She didn't smile once or even acknowledge our concerns.

Not the most freshly renovated or spiffy looking place, but the food was good and our server was nice. I'd go again.

Terrible choice of what they called Orange Chicken and rice bowl. I would call it a lazy cooks hot marinade chicken soup bowl instead.
The chicken was not cut up in pieces, or breaded , the vegetables and rice was drowned in a sweat marinade sauce. If I’m in visioning how this was prepared because I’m a cook myself. Plain cooked chicken and vegetables were thrown in a sauce pan with sweet marinade and heated up then served. I have shown you the pics to see yourself, also paid $15.99 for this soup. On top of that it had black stuff in it which you can see in the pics, and also dirty floors

Usually done in but wanted them bad so they said do chow now and that was great but the girl didn't tell me how to set up so I didn't hit delivery! They made the situation right and delivered it anyway thank you so much!

Food and service was very acceptable and food was cooked fresh and tasty!

Very good restaurant went as a party of 13. The hostess and manager accommodated us with seating very quickly. Menu was great had plenty of selections for adults and kids. I had the shimp scampi, my wife had the orange chicken and rice, my son had chicken fingers and French fries, and my daughter has the Mac and cheese with chicken. All were very big portion sizes and tasted amazing. The waitress Olivia was very prompt, helpful, kind, professional, and new the menu very well. Highly recommend this restaurant if your in the area.

Best Steak Tips on the South Shore, cooked with perfection, best flavor and tender...served with mashed potatoes and fresh sautéed green beans. Always forget till I'm finished to take pictures, so i guess you'll have to check it out yourself...guaranteed to love it...

Best Buffalo Mac & Cheese

Didn't get the Baked Scrod tonight but that is also the best.

Live in Kingston, been going for years. At a time when the world is trying to get people back to restaurants we go in and spend $300. We pay up, tip huge, and then realize we would like to have another drink and order to go. I say to our waitress.....PLEASE go slow, we would like to have these drinks and don't want to-go to be cold. Literally 4 minutes later 2 to go bags are dropped at the table, we're bum-rushed out, and sure enough we get home and the chicken is pink-rubber. Never again!

Good food lots of variety plus good kids meals. Always friendly staff and reasonable prices. Try the beef tips in a gravy, one of my favs

We really like this place. Close to home and food is always consistently good. My only complaint is too much ice in my alcoholic drinks. When the ice comes over the top of your glass... it's too much ice. Won't stop us from coming.. but will drink at home

We just came from your resturant had Lobster casserole and Lobster Bucatini both were delicious enjoyed very much excelent. we were out for our 29th Anniversary.the service was excelent. WE will be back.would rate it a10.THANKS FOR A NICE NIGHT. We are from HALIFAX MASS.

We order takeout from the Charlie Horse about every other week and always order the same thing, two chicken finger plates, a large hot wing and sometimes a burger or a quesadilla. Tonight there was a slight mixup at the takeout window, where someone else with my name who ordered a single turkey sandwich, took my $50 order. The staff at the bar were so friendly, apologetic and accommodating. They comped our entire meal, made our food fresh, and even included extra sauce and wings. This is why the Charlie Horse has lasted so long, while other restaurants surrounding it are struggling!

Very nice service, great food and nice surroundings. I especially like the herbs and tomatoes in the front yard.

Bar area is large and spacious, they have games for the kiddos, Keno, lottery machine and large tv for the big kiddos. Food is good and lots of options, was just there for a birthday celebration, and the staff did a great job waiting on guests and providing food in a timely manner.

PARKING SUCKS!!! The spaces are way to small and expect if you do use the spaces remotely close to the front, your vehicle will be damaged. Second time in the last year came home to find my truck scraped from another car. I'd give this place more stars if the had better parking. Lesson learned....next time I

Nice family type pub. Food was good. I gave it a 4 star because I wasn't able to 3.5 star. It is a good "go out to eat place" but not up to "dining out"

Service and staff very nice

Never in my life have I received such fantastic service I constantly eat here and have such positive experiences every time. They are very accommodating to any need! Not to mention the highlights of any dinner here would easily be the giant pretzel with a fantastic beer cheese and honey mustard, the steak and cheese calzone if your looking for a HUGE portion at a low price and the cheeseburger wrap cannot be beat. The selection of IPA's and craft beers are refreshing to say the least and there is never a drink I can't enjoy !

Love The Charlie Horse. We moved Kingston a year ago and this has become one of our favorites. Looking at it, I expected a restaurant that focused on being family friendly, but the food would be secondary and average at best. I was very happy to be wrong! Food has been consistently great and some of the specials even better.

Going here since I was a kid. Every time I visit I stop here on my way back to Boston. Always get great service! Nancy is the best! I always say if a place as not great food but service I go back. If a place has good food but bad service I won't go back, this place has both! That is rare today! Love it

I'm saddened that the owner chooses to publicly display his lack of empathy, for the indigenous inhabitants, of 'Murika.
I find that use of a billboard to be offensive.
I won't return to The Charlie Horse, nor will I support the owner.

The food here is pretty good,love the BBQ rib and chocolate sundae. The only disappointment was the basketball shooting trainer in arcade,it didn't function and we didn't get credit back.

OMG, this is such good food. Our group had the CA burger, caprise sandwich, pastrami sandwich and turkey pot pie. All of it was amazing.

Good food, big portions, cold beer, and reasonably priced. As bonuses they also have an arcade for the kids and keno. Service is usually good as well. The menu is a bit overwhelming because of the size. The charlie horse is a very solid lunch or dinner option in kingston!

Fast and helpful service. A pleasant family friendly atmosphere. The hot wings are great but some of the other dishes are really hit or miss with taste.

My wife and I went to the Charlie Horse last night. The place was mobbed as usual. I have never had a bad meal there until last night.
I had sea food casserole and my wife had the steak tips.
We sat at the bar. It was noisy but ok. The music was a little load for me.
My casserole was average and some of the scallops weren't cooked at all. The rice pilaf was terrible, starchy mush.
The wife's steak tips were good.
The service was great. The bar tender was attentive despite being impossibly busy.

I've been coming here longer than any other family restaurant (since I was a kid). Recently, the menu was re-done and I was interested to see what changed. I'm glad they kept the buffalo chicken nachos. My friend brought his two children, and I noticed that the kid's menu was very affordable.

I ordered more food than I needed because I skipped lunch and I thought people would try my quesadilla (they didn't!) I was pretty good. The buffalo chicken sandwich and fries are also a solid choice.
