Mamma Mia's Marshfield
In 1974, two brothers from Airola, Italy, Pasquale and Giovanni Viscariello, along with their wives Maria and Eugenia opened their first Italian restaurant in Kingston. They named it "Mamma Mia's" in honor of their mother. Their children, Salvatore, Antonio, Gina and John, worked tirelessly beside them, assembling pizza boxes by the hundreds until they were tall enough to reach the counter.

With the success of the Viscariello brothers first two restaurants in Kingston and Plymouth Waterfront, and the ambition of the second generation, the family went on to open Carmela's Italian Restaurant & Lounge, four other Mamma Mia's locations, Mia's Catering, and Two Brothers Wine. Together, the Viscariellos worked to provide customers with high quality authentic Italian cuisine in a family atmosphere.

I always have a great experience at Mamma Mias Pinehills. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food always tastes great. I order out or dine in usually once a week. I would highly recommend. I have been to other mamma mias locations (carver & Plymouth waterfront) and had good experiences as well.

The service is horrible for takeout, we always order, pick up and when we get home something is missing like a chicken, steak, or change comes, or your food comes loose (e.g. bread without a bag). Just horrible. I do not recommend!

I wonder if they even have a kitchen? Appear to have been frozen dinners simply microwaved when ordered. Price was low but too high for the quality. I don't anticipate returning.

We love all of the Mamma Mia's locations. Pine Hills is convenient for takeout on the way home from work. The food is always great.

There has never been a time when I haven't enjoyed a Mamma Mia's visit. It seems that no matter what I order or which ever Mamma Mia's I order it from, the taste and consistency is perfect. Whether it's a pizza or pasta or anything else on the menu. It's Always a two thumbs 👍👍 up. Well done 👏

Very nice staff and well air conditioned on such a hot day.
Food was ok
House salad did have bits of mozzarella added which elevated it a little bit
Lunch portion of chicken parm was pretty small, swapped out spinach for pasta, which was great, but added $4 bringing the entire dish to roughly $15. A small amount of food for $15.
On the other hand, another member of our group ordered the Caprese salad, which they liked very much, with a much more generous serving.

We stopped in because of the rain and we had to use the restroom. It was only by accident we found this place which is hidden from the road. So glad we stood to eat. The Italian sandwich and fries were hit the spot and allowed us to dry off.

This take out is offensive. I ordered a small cheese pizza 1/2 cheese 1/2 red pepper & onion. We had to wait 45 minutes for pizza and when my husband brought it home it was not cooked. We couldn't eat the pizza so that messed up our dinner. I called the business to report the uncooked pizza and they said we could come back and get a new pizza or get a credit. We were home for the evening and did not want to travel back. We live in Great Island so it was not a long distance from the restaurant but no other option was offered to us.
This has not been the first problem we have had with

The outdoor seating was nicely spaced apart. The food was decent. We tried both types of calamari and I think it didn't sit well with some of us, not sure why because it tasted fine. The entrees were good but nothing too special. Big portions. Pizza was decent. Nice partial view of the water. Not a whole lot to say good or bad.

Good was great. Best part is with covid 19. They got it right. Drive through pickup lane , people coming to you, employees separated and wearing protection. For trying times Mamma mias is stepping up their game. I definitely will be back for take out and eat in when we can again. Thank yo

It can be hard when you've been in the restaurant business for over 30 years to relax when out for a meal... yet; being in the business, I can more often than not sympathize and understand if a server is "in the weeds" and cut them some slack.... However, my biggest complaint was that our server was not attentive at all... we had to constantly ask for water refills and she never checked on us while we were eating. There were only three other parties in the dining room and she was no where to be found! My past primavera was not prepared as described on the menu as the "sauce

Usually love all mama Mia restaurants. However, this was the second not so good lunch at this location. Last time everything was good except the meatballs. More breading than usual. This time was a combo birthday going away luncheon. Five of us. Service was lacking. Gnocchi primavera had some sort of weird brown sauce. Server admitted the primavera sauce didn't usually look like that, but she didn't take it off the bill even tho my sister barely touched it. Chicken parm was small with too much sauce. Stuffed peppers, which I have loved and raved about for over 30 years, not up to par

Love love love their pizza & salads - BBQ chicken is incredible!!! We pick up every time we're in town! Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because we were pretty disappointed when we actually went in to eat, but it could've just been a totally random unfortunate experience. Would recommend going solely for the pizza!

This place is always hit or miss but lately more miss . Pizza I ordered last week to go had a stale crust and seemed like it had been reheated from the day before Today I ordered buffalo tenders ( which were soggy by the time they handed them to me ) and a salad ( which had ice berg lettuce mixed in to real greens ) I was told it would be 20 minutes until I could pick up my order but when I got there it took at least another 20 minutes ! Meanwhile people who came in to the takeout window and ordered after me ( as well as bar to go orders ) received their order and left before I did . Not sure

We've eaten at and ordered from Mamma Mia's in the Pinehills many times. The food is never AMAZING, but it is good, casual Italian food. You know what you're going to get, and sometimes that's exactly what you want.

The service in-house is always good - the hosts and servers are always friendly and accommodating. And the live music is an added bonus!

It's not usually my first choice, but it's convenient and always satisfying. They do get VERY busy (45 minutes for our takeout pizzas on a Saturday night), so plan ahead.

Unbelievably bad food and service the pizza was old I bought a single slice it was cardboard
The Caesar salad was not good at all the lettuce was brown and wilted granted it's summer but I'm paying $9.00 for it it should be fabulous and they forgot about the side of additional Parmesan which is canned by the way service was terrible and food has gone downhill tremendously skip next time! I'm a regular here come once a month extremely disappointed, in addition my partner second glass of wine took 30 minutes not acceptable!

Dad just moved to the area so we had to try it out. So glad we did! Large portions, full of flavor and fresh. Called in for take out and asked for suggestions, the lady was super helpful and very sweet. I am now adding Mamma Mia's to his contacts and the menu is on the fridge. Thank you for immediately making this my dad's go to spot.

I ordered a pizza for takeout last night over the phone. Answered quickly with please hold (rushed). Eventually she gets back on the phone and rushes to take my order. Tells me 25-30 minutes. No pleases, no thank you, no warmth; she just hangs up. So rude.

I get there at exactly 25 minutes. Greeted warmly by hostess. But the pizza is barely warm in the box. This isn't when I get it home 5 minutes later, this is barely warm when she hands it to me. Clearly it was ready 15 minutes earlier.

Lots of opportunities for service improvements at this restaurant.

Would recommend! Picked up a to-go order which was prepped perfectly. We had the pizza and the bolognese, both delicious. The staff member who took my order was perfectly pleasant.

My complaint, is that I wish the rolls they served with my meal (and for the garlic bread) were a little more impressive. The pasta was homemade, and delicious! I bet if they made dinner rolls, they'd be just as good.

I just don't understand the issue. Food is often cold and tasteless. I grew up on the Kingston location and perhaps I am spoiled because of Pat\John - but the quality of the food should be much better. How can baked ziti taste so different from Kingston/Plymouth to Pinehills? Bar always seem full - dining room not so much. Takeout used to be packed - no more

My husband and I had just gotten into Plymouth after a long drive so we wanted to find an easy take out place. We came across this restaurant and the menu looked pretty decent. We placed our takeout order and they said it would be about 25 minutes. It took only about 15 so that was nice, as we were very hungry at this point and just wanted to eat.

I ordered the steak tips, my husband ordered the baked ziti, and we ordered a Greek salad to share. I was highly disappointed by the steak tips. The meal cost $18 so I was expecting it to be good. The steak was marinated in some sort of teriyaki sauce

Some things are great here, some things not so much. Pizza, sandwiches and pasta with red sauce are very good. Wine/white sauces not recommended. Buffalo and BBQ chicken pizzas are great. Order pizzas lightly cooked, as they can overlook them at times.
