North Hills Veterinary Clinic

They wouldn't except a new patient. Now I don't know where to go to get my dogs shots which have to be done before 2/5/22 or the County will fine me. My regular vet has no appointments until April and I called 2 weeks ago. This is terrible.

I am very pleased with the exceptional service my fur babies recieve here. Been with North Vall Veterinary Clinic for 3 years now. Very grateful for them.

Great vets they got my sugar gliders in last year the same day when one had an absent tooth when it was almost impossible to find a vet in town

Our 9 month old German shepherd had a dry white circle that was bleeding once in a while (didn't know where that came from nor how he got it) the Veterarian at North Hills told us that it was a ring worm and gave us an ointment to apply 3 times a day, after a week our furry baby is free of ring worm. We are very happy how he was very professional & knowledgeable the personal staff is friendly. I will recommend this place for your fury babys 100%

Really impressed with the staff at this location. We weren't established with the vet there but we're still taken care of. Our bulldog caught kennel cough at a doggy daycare and being first time dog parents it wasn't fun. We really had no clue what to do since her usual vet was booked out for weeks. We called ahead to see what options we had and they luckily were able to squeeze her in. She got her meds and within a couple days she was doing better.

Dr Bagget is the animal whisperer. He brings in such a calm, not only to the pets but to the parents as well. The staff are very caring and helpful. The place is very clean and inviting.

After losing both my senior pups last year I decided it was time again for new fur babies & adopted 2 shelter kittens. My previous vet who I loved for years is a bit of a drive & since kitties stress in the car I decided to establish a relationship with a closer vet. Last month I took them both for booster shots & exam. The counter staff & vet tech were super friendly. Vet was nice but not the most warm & fuzzy with my babies. $185 for 4 shots/exam. Unfortunate I did not ask about the app and why they did not answer the phones last Friday when they say they are open til six. Also unfortunately my next visit will be my last for quite sometime.

This was my first visit with my dog, Theo. He had a double ear infection. When I called the clinic to schedule an appointment that morning, the front desk staff understood that it was urgent for my Theo to be seen and treated as soon as possible. Even though their schedule was full they went out of their way and gave me an appointment for the same afternoon. They were so kind. I am discouraged and ashamed with this clinic. My vet retired during COVID (different clinic) so I reached out to this clinic. Initially, we found them to be professional and helpful. When I found a lump in the neck of my dog they were kind to "squeeze" me in for an appointment, same day. That day they were heroes. Sadly, we discovered our 4 year old boy has cancer. We have taken 3 out of our 4 (!) cats here in the last six months and have been very pleased. They aren't allowing entry in with your pets during covid precautions, so you park, text or call, and they come out to retrieve your pet.
All the gals that have come out to pick up or return our cats have been super friendly.
One of our cats has been have a long term issue which the vet has tried to diagnose. Not jumping to the most expensive tests, but thoughtfully working up to what we believe is now the issue. Kitty has been doing good lately :). Fingers crossed.

Only getting 2 stars because they have always been polite to me. Took my dog in because she had an issue with an eye. Dr. Baggett misdiagnosed her glaucoma, said something probably got in her eye. He gave me meds and sent me on my way. She didn't get better, took her back in and now we know it's a glaucoma and too late to save her eye. I'm glad she's alive but now she's missing an eye unnecessarily.

ABSOLUELTELY AMAZING HERE!!! Dr.Brown was able to diagnose my baby so quickly when four other clinics were not able to. Customer service was very quick & everyone was so kind to me & my baby. I got updates whenever i asked with no reconcile from anyone. Very positive atmosphere. Dr.Brown explained everything to me in terms i could understand, gave me ALL the medication options (especially appreciate it because my kiddo is horrible with pills). Wow! I am new to this area. This office is five minutes away. My cat is under the weather, btw...thanks for evening asking why I was calling, and I was told they aren't taking new patients because of COVID. I understand this is a difficult time but JUST WOW.

We went to North Hills last year for a second opinion from the emergency vet, who told us if we couldn't afford the surgery they recommended, we would have to put our Chloe dog down.

I called North Hills and Dr. Baggett's assistant, I believe Erica, was so patient and took time to explain things to me over the phone. I felt so calm and trusting with them because of the care and time they took with me and my Chloe.

Staff is nice. However my entire experience has been less than great.
My first appt for my puppy was due to him possibly getting into a couple grapes (can be poison for dogs) when I called the vet, the lady told me to call poison control to open a claim. Did that but then PC told me to call my vet anyways because he was so young. So I had to pay not only poison control but the vet as well for the same issue. I called this morning to get an appointment for one of my dogs. The gentleman who answered the call asked reason needing to be seen. I explained reason and what was going on. He put me on hold, came back on and said soonest would be the next day afternoon. I got a little upset and said ok and asked in the meantime what should I do for my dog who is in pain? My wife and I have been bringing our dogs to NHV for many years. I highly recommend Doctor Gonzalez. We have always appreciated Doctor Gs love for our pets, his compassion, and veterinarian knowledge is awesome. Doctor Gonzalez is a special Vet and once you meet him with your pet you will understand his connection and love for animals. We have been through a lot with Doctor G, to include putting down our beautiful girl Rylee Rue in 2018. We will continue to visit Doctor Gonzalez for our pets medical needs. We have been very happy since moving to the area last year and switching vets. We loved our old vet practice, but one of the doctors left and scheduling became impossible- call for a sick pet and they are six or more weeks out - so we did our homework and gave N. Hills a try.

Almost immediately we had an emergency w/my senior pup and the staff was incredible. Sat on the floor w/us and the pup to explain all the options, gave us ample time for the agonizing farewell (a previous vet had the nerve to ask if we could hurry it up when our cat was ill). I just recently made the switch to North Hills Vet- not only because it's close to home, but because they really are wonderful. I called the Vet I usually take my dogs to because my Pitbull had a large lump on his neck. They weren't able to get him in for nearly three weeks. Knowing he was in pain and couldn't wait that long,
I called North Hills Vet because they are close to home and they literally got him in the next day.
Dr. Bagget was friendly and professional- even with how difficult my pitbull was. I have now seen them for two of my dogs and will not be going anywhere else
