Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As dental professionals, we stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for our patients. As doctors, we recognize that our patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in our team.
Pediatric Dentistry (formerly Pedodontics/Paedodontics) primarily focuses on children from birth through adolescence. The American Dental Association (ADA), recognizes Pediatric Dentistry as a specialty, and therefore requires dentists to undertake two or three years of additional training after completing a general dentistry degree.
There are several goals for the first dental visit. First, the pediatric dentist and the child need to get properly acquainted. Second, the dentist needs to monitor tooth and jaw development to get an idea of the child's overall health history. Third, the dentist needs to evaluate the health of the existing teeth and gums.
San Leandro Pediatric Dentistry accepts the fee schedule of Delta Dental Premier and we accept most PPO's. If you have questions about how much your insurance will cover, please refer to your EOB ( Explanation of Benefits) that you received when you purchased your insurance. We will only be able to give you an estimate when you visit our office.

We love this dental office and drive from Dublin for our appointments. Dr. Hipolito is a fantastic dentist and his team are all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this dental office to anyone.
Dr. Hipolito was recommended to me by my dentist when my son impacted his front top 4 teeth and needed someone to perform emergency pediatric dental care. He did his best to preserve and save his teeth by putting a brace on the top teeth. When the teeth finally fell out (2 years later) he was able to put false teeth in for him by way of small retainer to make him feel confident again.

Dr. Hippolito is great. Having said that, I have not had a good experience here because of the front office staff and the approach they take to payments. The new patient paperwork demands your social security card and I asked why. I was told so they can send you to collections (not a good sign). I paid $400 to have my son evaluated and we got a $2300 estimate for future work. To schedule for that I had to make a down payment of most of that amount a month in advance a little over 50% or around $1200) and schedule a Kaiser visit. I was having a very bad year and our Kaiser was canceled so I could
