Came here again and I got the nutty salad with chicken tinga. It was super yummy and very filling. We also shared a pitcher of margs that was great!

This was our first time eating at Salt & Lime during our Steamboat Springs trip and we absolutely LOVED it. We went to eat yesterday and our waitress was so sweet and she took great care of us (I can't remember her name but she was extremely tall & a brunette). She recommended the trio app and we added on the queso - their chips are fabulous. I started off with the caliente margarita (spicy but not too spicy) and it was perfect. My boyfriends mom was drinking the frozen house margarita and let's just say she felt great after only drinking two. I ordered the fried shrimp taco and

Decided to satisfy our hunger from a 5 hour flight with some drinks and food at Salt & Lime. We arrived right at the beginning of happy hour (3:30PM) and opted for seats at the bar. We ordered two of the cocktails and a variety of tacos. The drinks were good and tacos came out quick. Some of the tacos we tried included the al pastor, pescado fresco, and steak popper. Some of the meat was dry but the toppings helped to balance that out. For the pescado you can pick between beer battered or grilled. I went with the beer battered and there wasn't much of a crunch. The best taco was the steak

We felt lucky to get a table in a few minutes without having to make a reservation. We were seated in the 2nd room. Our waitress was very efficient with our drinks & our food order. I ordered the taco salad with carne asada. The salad was delicious & a good size. I agree w/another reviewer that the bowl was more like a 'dog bowl,' but, my complaint is that it was a metal, enamel bowl that had several chips in it & looked like rust?! I lost my appetite when I found a big chip in the bottom of my salad bowl. I say ditch those bowls & get real glass bowls. Other constructive

As far as fun and enjoyable dinner spots in ski towns go, Salt & Lime is right up there. It's not going to blow you away but you'll be satisfied nonetheless. We came as a group of 5 at 6 pm on a Saturday but to our surprise it was only a 30 minute wait. We were seated promptly and service was attentive and pleasant the whole time we were there. The interior space is vibrant and inviting, but a bit cramped. For drinks, we each had a different version of their house margarita. I had a spicy margarita (5/5) and it was excellent! For food, we shared chips and queso (3/5) and tres salsas

Went to salt and lime after being recommend by a friend. We had a short wait but were ultimately seated right next to the door which was quite chilly. Otherwise we had a great experience. The queso appetizer was so good! I ordered the enchiladas which were very good as well. Several margarita options which were all very good. Would recommend the Frutilla

Very special tacos in the center of the downtown area of area. They are not very authentic but their sauces and garnishes are very fresh. The guac is really good along with their chips. The fish taco is the best because they include some tangy flavor to balance our the oil from frying.

Cocktails are great and worth trying. Their happy hour is very good from 3 to 5pm, then you can try almost all their tacos.

This restaurant is a must when you're in Steamboat! The tres salsas with guacamole is a great appetizer and you can't go wrong with any of the tacos. My favorite is probably the chorizo one- so dang good! They have great margaritas too. Highly recommend if you want a delicious meal with very friendly servers!

The service is exceptional and the food is quickly served and noticeably fresh. I had low expectations for Mexican cuisine in Colorado, but you better believe that this place far exceeded what I had imagined. DELICIOUS! A shout out to staff for being so attentive and pleasant :)

I came here hoping to find authentic Mexican food and accommodations for my gluten and lactose allergies. The owner posted this place on the "Find Me Gluten Free" app, which should mean that they have a gluten free menu, or many gluten free options. I came here hoping to find these types of options. I ended up not liking this place. Let me explain and show you why.

When I arrived I spoke with the hostess and asked for a booth. I sat in the back half of the restaurant. The booth the hostess sat me in had a large pile of coats from the table next to me. The hostess and waiter never removed

Make sure to get there during happy hour!!! Otherwise this place goes from a 4 to a 2 star.

Happy hour consists of $3.50 tacos and $8 margaritas.

At face value, that much for a taco is kinda expensive. But, this place is chic and hip so it makes up for it. Swag.

Also a life hack. The chips are unlimited if you order the dip appetizer. It comes with guacamole, salsa roha, salsa verde, and queso. Perfect for hungry people.

I tried the carne, shrimp, fish, and one other one I forgot the name of. The fish one is the best so get it. BATTERED. Specify that. Also the blt shrimp taco ain't bad

Great foodie spot. Everything is always fresh and super tasty. There is a wide array of different appetizers and tacos to choose from. We enjoyed they loaded guac and bison cheese dip. All the tacos are good, but some are better than others. I think the fish is my favorite, its so flaky and perfect. Can’t beat for great Margs and fresh food.

Salt and Lime puts a newer spin on elevated Mexican food.
The homemade margaritas we really good. The jalapeno margarita was not to spicy and had a good hint of spice.
The poppers were really good. The pineapple added a nice sweetness to balance the jalapenos.
The bison tacos are very good, a bit messy compared to the fried shrimp but the flavor was really good.

Really good. I had both taco specials. One brisket and one lamb. They were really good. Spicy margarita "caliente" was top 5 margaritas I have ever had. Really refreshing without being overwhelmingly sweet, tart or spicy. The "meaty charro pinto beans" I felt were a tad under cooked. I get not having it not turn to mush but they were a little firmer than I prefer. Ended up looking up their sister restaurant "Laundry" for later in the week. Also really good.

We came in for lunch and were seated right away.

We ordered tres salsas. The chips were crispy and had this delicious seasoning on them. The red and green salsa were fresh and delicious , the guacamole was simple and delicious !

We ordered the taco al pastor, carne asada, and battered fish along with the cauliflower hash. The tacos were so fresh and bursting with flavors, they were generously topped with an array of delicious toppings. The cauliflower was cooked well and the crispy topping took it over the top!

I think 2 tacos are enough for one person, by the 3rd taco I felt like I was going

Drinks were great

I would recommend the cauliflower and white sangria, and all the salsas (tres salsas, and naked guac)

Baja shrimp was too sweet, but I loved the generous amount of red chilies

Awesome spot! Stopped by for lunch during the week and all the great reviews are true! This place is bomb. The space itself is cool, the rooftop is perfect on a sunny afternoon. The staff is also awesome - everyone from our server to the rest of the staff that stopped by the table were great. Really friendly, personable, and very prompt. Drinks are great and food is delicious! We tried the loaded guacamole, quesadilla, and the taco special (two tacos and elote). Great dining experience and we’ll be back!

Salt & Lime was just excellent! Flavors were just perfect and poppin', as it should be. Had an assortment of tacos and I think the al pastor was my favorite, but all were really very very good. The veggie queso was also delicious. House chips and salsa had a very nice flavorful salsa verde that I could just keep going at.

Maybe the highlight was the mezcal margarita (El Diablo), just fantastic smokey, fresh lime flavor and generous salt rim. Top shelf!

Only negative was just that they were short staffed, but this is expected during this low season, so not really a negative. They were

Love love LOVED our tacos at Salt & Lime!! Nothing better than happy hour tacos after a long day of hiking. We tried 8 different ones and they were all divine - especially the brisket and fish ones. Wish we were locals coz we'd be regulars too! Yum!!

This was our first time here and I was happy we finally got to eat here! We sat at the bar and the service from the bartender was awesome! We got the chips and salsa and then we each got different tacos for dinner. Definitely order some margaritas because they are made very well! I ordered the Cucumber Fresco and it was fabulous! I would have loved to eat upon their rooftop patio but unfortunately they were under staffed that night and had very limited seating. Next time we visit I'm definitely trying for the rooftop! Overall a very good experience, I highly recommend eating here during your visit

Ever been to one of those places where everything on the menu is rock star? Salt and Lime is just that place.
First, the service is super fast and our waiter tried everything on the menu and recommended just the right things. The tres salsas were a good start and the chicken, asada and pastor tacos were so flavorful. The quesadilla was straight-up incredible, but the chicken enchilada was unbelievable...You'd seriously club a baby seal for that thing even if you were on a Greenpeace boat. So. Damn. Good.

If you want "everything is awesome" food, super fast and knowledgeable service

Friends took me here while visiting Steamboat. This spot has Americanized tacos and drinks. The food was fine. The drinks were strong. The decor looks like someone went to TJ Maxx and had a field day.

I’m speechless with this place. Living in Dallas now thought I would find the perfect Mexican restaurant, but this is where I had the best Mexican food in my life. I went back two days in a row for lunch. The veggie tacos with beans and rice on the side is something I wish I can have every week. The frozen margaritas and queso dip was also a winner and having the view of the mountains on the rooftop patio was another perk

Background whisper: LIttle Bits!

Resturant chef (improvised): Where the food is tiny...it looks like regular food. But really tiny. You put it in your mouth and eat it. Nothing gets stuck in your lips. It's just tiny and tiny and fits (laughter) fits right in!

Restaurant chef: (improvised) We got....tiny uh-lasagna. tiny pizza, tiny pie. Mmh! Little tiny...fried eggs! (surprised) Oh, shoot! We got tiny people!

Adorable decor, airy space, great rooftop patio, super friendly staff, good margaritas, and good Mexican food. Probably everything I'd want out of a Mexican place up in Steamboat. Have I had more authentic Mexican food, with maybe a wider variety, back in Denver? Sure. But everything is relative to where you're at, and this is absolutely one of the better options to eat and hand out in Steamboat.
