We have been going here for some time now and always had great experiences. As of late the mood and attitude has changed dramatically. I know all the restaurants are having trouble with staffing, but that is no reason to take it out on regular customers that have been supportive through the tough times. We are finding this at many of our regular spots. If they need to raise prices, we have no problem with it and are understanding. But we are finding sneaky price increases that are not listed on the menus and have no alternative than to pay the bill. We asked for a refill of coffee, to find

This is a filthy restaurant and it is beyond me how the board of health has not closed it down. I actually saw a counter girl pick up a slice of cake with her BARE hand, slap it on a plate and have it served to a customer in the restaurant. No glove, no serving utensil- just her grubby bare hand after she had just touched dirty money! I saw food dropped on the floor, picked up and served from a staff of people who drop the F bomb every second word. NEWS FLASH! Only packaged, covered food can be served from counter people handling money. ALL food handlers should be wearing gloves. CAFE GALLO knows

Cafe Gallo has perhaps the best pizza in this neighborhood. This time, we had a gathering in a nearby park, keeping social distancing in mind. The event was a bit early in the morning, around the time they usually open. They still delivered on time. And the pizza quality was as it always is, i.e., excellent.

I order from here very often but last 3 time my order wasn't up to the standard they had earlier. The eggplant parmigiana sandwich was not well coated with sauce and veggie requested and the garlic know were half the side that they use to be not to mention they were dry and non garlicky...... sad to see one of our fav places not maintaining its standards

I had not been here in a very long time. This used to be my "go to" place for a delicious chicken franchise. During my last visit, my guest and I had different chicken dishes and they were not up to par with our usual standards. We decided to dine outside last night due to Covid. There were people indoors, but I am not ready to do that yet. Ok, so the waitress came out and took our orders. I was impressed that she was wiping down the table and I asked her to do the same with the chairs. No salt or pepper or any type of condiments (pepper flakes, parm cheese) were on the table

Ordered from Cafe Gallo for Easter. They offered a prepared dinner that feeds 4-6 people. It feed 7 of us with food left over. The food was very delicious, we had chicken marsala, shrimp in Garlic sauce, Mancoti, mixed vegetables and salad! All of which was fresh and reheated well. Everyone could not believe how good the food was. I will be ordering again in the future. I highly recommend.

I understand the times we are in currently. But we ordered from Cafe Gallos tonight and and are completely dissatisfied with the order we received. The Italians sub ordered has literally two pieces of meat on the sandwich not to mention no ham. We also ordered chicken fingers and fries which arrived cold. There was also a chicken and roasted red peppers wrap that was completely soaked in Oil making the wrap soggy and inedible.
The delivery was placed online and we were told it would be here in 35 mins albeit give or take. We received the delivery well over a hour and 20 mins

Stopped in for a hot bowl of lentil soup it was Delicious. Ralph, the owner, is very accommodating. I noticed they have a pizza with scungiland calamari but Im too full to order it.
Stopped by today for a cup of minestrone soup and a turkey bacon wrap. Delicious!

I called to order a pizza at 5:55 and didn't get it until almost 8:00. While I was waiting I called Cafe Gallo multiple times and I actually felt bad for the girl answering because she didn't know what to tell me except that the driver had my order. While she was very polite the delivery boy was not. When he did come he told me it wasn't his fault and I said no matter whose fault we won't be ordering from them again. He said that's good then started laughing like what I said was hysterical. It was one of the creepiest things I've seen in a while he started to walk

You'd think a restaurant like this would have more pride in their food. I stopped by tonight for a couple of slices after visiting Stop & Shop. It was only when I arrived home with my box of slices that I realized that they'd found the oldest, driest, darkest slices to warm and sell me. It's disappointing and, if an indicator of their approach to food service, definitely a signal to go elsewhere. I ended up buying two additional slices at another restaurant.

Went with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. Although the place was busy, the service was prompt and courteous. Our meals arrived timely and every dish was good. Nice bottles with water and good bread on the tables, cloth napkins and pleasant table settings round out the experience. It's in a strip mall, so parking is easy. The dining room gets a bit noisy and the menu options could be enhanced with a bit more innovation, but overall excellent. I'll go back.

I heard this restaurant had new owners so we tried it out for lunch. I had the most delicious linguini with red clam sauce!!! It even had whole clams in the shell on top! I was very impressed as prior to this experience the quality of food had deteriorated and we stopped going. I will definitely be back again to try some more options!!

Great food; delivery and promptness are another story. Ordered through Seamless/Grubhub, and received notification that we'd have the food in 45-60 minutes. After an hour, I called and was told that the delivery "just left". We're going on an hour and a half and it still hasn't arrived. We are about a ten minute drive from the restaurant so I guess we weren't the priority delivery for this trip.
As stated, good food but more than 90 minutes for delivery is simply ridiculous. I guess this will teach me to pick up instead.

First time there and it will not be my last. Substitution in the menu is no problem. Wait staff was very friendly and thorough. As you walk into the very cozy dining room the aroma of good food hits you instantly. The food is of very good quality and I the portions are generous. The gnocchi was delicious and light. I wish I discovered this hidden gem sooner.

Food was ok maybe a little better than that but not much. Service was ok too. There were mistakes with the orders. One we lived with and one which was corrected quickly. Portions were ok as were the prices. I think the restaurant could have been more flexible about substitutions especially where it's not a major change and it's not something that would cost them money in any way. Parking was easy in the strip mall. All in all, everything was ok.

I have ordered from here once before and was not impressed. I decided to try it again since it's been a few months. The fried calamari was barley breaded and had absolutely no flavor. I also ordered the Hotzy Shotzy shrimp. For $9.75 it came with 5 shrimp! I would not recommend this place. The serving sizes are for little kids.

"2ND HAND CIGARETTE SMOKE FROM 2 SMOKERS AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE WITH DOORS OPEN" - Two patrons decided to go outside and smoke... RIGHT AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE WITH THE DOORS OPEN. Because it was a blustery day, the 2nd hand smoke that resulted from them blew right into the restaurant while we all ate. No employee asked them to move farther away with their smoking, despite seeing them doing so. The employees could have closed the door too, but that didn't happen either. What kind of BYOB eatery would allow this behavior? o_O
