Taffie is the real deal. She is sensitive, insightful and highly skilled. Taffie connected with me immediately, and as I told my story, she validated the pain and offered me hope. The hope wasn't sugar-coated. We did lots of work, and she does use a direct approach, which I needed. She didn't let me wallow but saw strength in me that I didn't see in myself, and taught me to access it so that I could become more grounded and independent.

I scheduled an intake for a Drug and alcohol assessment with her. She never mentioned on the phone that I would need 90 days clean time for her to accept me as a client. Instead I wasted my time to go see her and pour out my painful 30 year history that took over an hour, filling out her forms and such. To which she said I can't see you as a client, you don't have enough clean time. If that was her policy, she should have stated that upfront on the phone and not wasted both of our times.
