Michael H. Murphy, III was born into a military family at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. Michael's father, a Navy Mustang, soon transferred to the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Michael graduated from Summerville High School and later attended The Citadel where he would serve as a cadet officer and graduate in May of 1993 with a degree in Business Administration.
My practice is focused on defending State and Federal criminal cases in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties in South Carolina. I also take great interest in preserving the intent of the Founders of our Country that all are equal before the eyes of the law and that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
How can money make a person "whole" again after an injury or death? It cannot. No amount of money or property can ever put a person back to where they were prior to being the victim of an accident. Over the past two hundred and thirty odd years of American civil jurisprudence and even before that, the process has changed shape and evolved into our current civil justice system.
Domestic litigation encompasses a wide variety of areas including divorce, child support, alimony, child custody, property division, and others. There are two types of marriages in South Carolina: Statutory and Common Law. Statutory marriage is what most consider a "traditional marriage" in which parties enter a contract to be married and this contract is "approved" by the State.

The woman in the front office that answers the phones is extremely rude and extremely unprofessional. I was under the impression that they were a different law firm than what they are and when she corrected me she was very snobby about it and it felt like she was belittling me. I even had to tell her information that she gave me wasn’t at all true she just misconstrued it into something it wasn’t.

Murphy-Very poor work ethic. Went through 3 paralegals in 4 months. Retained him, he was out of the office for over a month without letting clients know. I called and called “ he is not in the office” finally was told would be out several more weeks. No one covers while he is out repeatedly. Uses his reserves as an excuse to provide poor service to clients.
He held onto a case for almost a year blowing through $$$ with only making copies and mailings etc. He did no research, no actual legal work. He cannot stay focused, he can’t even find a pen or pencil in his office .
