Dr. Judith M. Bordeaux first received her DMD from the University of the Philippines, Manila in 1994. After practicing general dentistry in Manila for 4 years, she decided to specialize in Periodontics. She attended Indiana University and received her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree in Periodontics in 2001.

When removing a tooth it is important to consider what will be done with the empty space after that tooth is removed. Wisdom teeth are in the back of the mouth, so that site will heal on its own with no complications. If it is necessary to remove another tooth, plans must be made. If a tooth is removed and nothing is done with the extraction site, the jaw bone will degenerate and change shape during healing and can cause your teeth to shift.
Many people are afflicted with bruxism, or teeth grinding. Some people may do this consciously during the day, but it is a larger problem at night while you are asleep. Grinding your teeth can damage enamel, wear down teeth, cause jaw pain, or irritate your gums. The noise from teeth grinding can also disturb your spouse's sleep if loud enough.

Dr. Bordeaux and the hygienist were very nice and helpful. But I cannot give a good review due to the office staff. Upon scheduling my procedure, I told the billing staff that I needed to know the exact amount I would owe and when I would owe it because I needed to save and budget for the procedure. I paid in full at both of my appointments. I then received a bill for over $800 a month later. When I called, I was told that my insurance would not cover it. It was her job to ensure this was handled BEFORE my procedures. She said that I must have had other dental work done since she had given me the

Shirley is lazy, rude, and refuses how to do her job properly. She didnt know if her office took my insurance or not so instead of calling to find out which is her job she refused. I was given this office as a possible provider from my health insurance. All the other secretaries at other offices called to check but shirley thinks it's not her job and just saying idk and arguing is what shes supposed to do. She told me it's my job to call, which I already did and was given a list of possible providers. Even my health insurance told me the secretary at the dental office would have to call them to

I only went to her one time for a consultation on getting implants & her prices were outrageous & I was advised of $85 fee for consult even though the majority of dentists offer for free. The $85 was paid & then a few months later I received a bill for another $111 for an extra. Was never advised of extra fee & spoke to receptionist & they were not helpful at all!

I was referred by my dentist to Dr Bordeaux to get an implant. He knew my anxiety and fear about implants were off the charts and she would be a good fit for me. He was absolutely right!! She is amazing!! My first day she sat down and explained everything from the procedure to the price. Anxiety, no problem. Lots of options and found ways to help me. I've been in twice now for procedures with no fear and no problems. A few more procedures to go and I'll have my new tooth and healthier gums! I HIGHLY recommend her!!
