It sure smells good & looks awesome, but are you just a little unsure of what the different types of meat are when you order? Well, this might help explain the difference between the types of BBQ we are cookin' up and what you might really enjoy! Stacked Pit Beef - Certified Angus Top Round (very lean), seasoned and smoked in our pit with a mixture of charcoal & hickory.

We've been passing this place for years on the way to the shore. Finally stopped in for some BBQ. I had the pulled pork sandwich 6it was fantastic. My sister and her husband shared pit beef and pit ham sandwiches. They absolutely loved them. We also shared BBQ fries, cheese bacon fries and mozz sticks. Everything was delicious

Our 1st time here..it was ok. Nothing to write home about, as my Dad would say! We split the 2 meat platter and added brisket on because they won't let you chose brisket as a meat to the 2 or 3 meat platter. (There was nothing indicating that after we had spent 5 minutes deciding, had to re decide) The turkey was delicious, brisket pretty dry, green bean tasted and looked as if they were out of a can, collard were delicious. Decide for yourself. There are better places for certain.

Ribs were ok, mac and cheese had no flavor. I wouldn't complain about the price if it was a wow food experience. Also the service was okay, your cashier and your server are who represent you. If they have no interest on helping you, give you entree suggestions and making a good impression also thanking you for your business, then people will just come try this place once and never want to come back.

I don't like leaving bad reviews. However, this was my first impression and I'm not pleased. My co-workers eat out every day, and I always pack leftovers. Today, I had a stressful day, and wanted comfort food… so I went along with where the food runner was going. I looked at the online menu. I called and asked questions. I was interested in the Rib Sandwich with Mac n Cheese or greens. I had to call back 4 times. When the young (I assume) lady answered I could barely hear her. I asked what came on the sandwich. I asked about the combos. She did not sound knowledgeable about the menu. The

I'd give this place zero stars, but unfortunately I can't. Don't waste your money, I basically received hot lunch meat and crappy sides with zero flavor. I'd be surprised if this place lasts another 6 months. I should have just used the $32 that I spent for toilet paper, that would have been better than the food.

After taking a bike ride in Talbot Country, we decided to try this place as we are fans of good barbeque. We were very disappointed in the quality of the sandwiches and especially disappointed in the cost for the sandwiches, especially the brisket. A four ounce brisket sandwich will set you back $12.50. I thought this was a lot when I ordered it, but I thought it was going to be something special. It wasn't. The meat was dry and had no smoke flavor at all. We live in the DC suburbs and are fortunate to be within walking distance to two excellent barbeque places. Their cost for a very excellent

We drove past Hot Off The Coals and just the smell made us turn around and come back. We walked into a clean restaurant, and the service was excellent and quick.
We ordered a BBQ brisket sandwich and Buffalo wings.
The brisket was delicious in so many ways! It literally melted into my mouth from how tender it was. They really live up to their motto "You don't need teeth to eat our food."
The wings were excellent 👌. They were not overcooked or dry in anyway. Their choice of Buffalo sauce was not incredibly spicy although it did have some kick to it. It was a good Buffalo sauce, not too much

I hate leaving relatively negative reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. I pulled up excited because they had their smokers going and it smelled amazing. As a huge BBQ fan, I typically give restaurants credit for using actual smokers. Unfortunately the experience and food was underwhelming.
The ordering was a bit painful. The menu is posted outside with prices, however, it doesnt give a lot of detail. There are two brisket sandwhiches, but it doesnt say what the difference is between the two. When I asked for a number 1, I was asked if I wanted 4oz or 6oz sandwhich. Nowhere on the menu does

Food WAS good. Service is typically quick but the portions keep getting smaller and smaller.
When this place first open you left feeling full and satisfied. Now you feel like that was a bit pricey for what we just paid.
Just left here for the last time. Brisket tasted like dry roast beef. Everything was dry!
$37 for a sandwich and a platter with drinks!!
Avoid!!

The smell of the BBQ welcomes you as you drive by...for me I needed to give it a try and I am glad I did
Fall off the bones ribs that were moist and flavored perfectly made for an enjoyable meal... The service was attentive and staff was extremely friendly. They have a well rounded menu....

The food looked great and the staff was friendly but the food was bad. I ordered platters. The ribs, baby-backs, were over cooked(not burnt) and dry. The chicken was bland and dry and tasted like bad supermarket rotisserie chicken with BBQ sauce. It had no smoke at all. The Smokey flavor from the ribs tasted like propane mixed with gum tree wood. For the most part, the smoker out there seems like it's used to entice people to come in and not to cook with. The collards weren't cleaned well because I bit into some grit and the beans were bland. I was so disappointed that I didn't finish
