This place was the worst experience ever for me at a resturant. We sat at a table for an hour before we were waited on. When we complained the entire staff was so very rude to us. When the "manager" came over to us she started cursing us and asked us to leave because she was making a scene. This has got to be the worst managed resturant around. I have mentioned this to friends and family whom have had terrible experiences there also. The food from what I understand is subpar to say the least. Avoid this dump at all cost!!🤢🤮🤧🤮🤢

My daughter and I went to eat here with four of our friends. We got there and I was amazed by the restaurant looked. The view of the water was beautiful. We were enjoying our company when the waitress comes up to take our order. She never asked us was the orders separate and she was always saying "What" in a rude way. Our patience got real thin! Every time the waitress came to us she was even ruder! We asked for things and she acted as if we were bothering her. We asked for some to go bags and she threw them at us!!! My friend and I went to the manager and there was nothing done!! I let

Snappers never fails. Beautiful spot on the water, most/all food made from scratch there. The jalapeño poppers we had last time were awesome! Loved the crab dip and cream of crab soup too! A little off the beaten path, but worth it!

This is a fun place with great food, at least what we had on two trips there. The crab nachos are heaven and so are the conch fritters. Sandwiches and salads good as well. The tiki bar is a total hoot. Great drinks, live music (sometimes) and a motley crew of locals. We thought it was a great cultural experience!

Sat at the tiki bar...great location by the water. Shrimp tacos left a lot to be desired...very bland. The cocktails, however, were fantastic. Would come back to sit at the tiki bar again for drinks and apps.

There's a sign on the door leading into Snappers from the outdoor dining area that reads, "Please be kind to our staff." There should also be one for the staff that reads, "Please be kind/respectful to our customers."

We were in Cambridge for a couple of nights in search of great crab cakes and Snappers was recommended. The hostess was pleasant enough, but when we were led to our outdoor table in the Tiki Bar area, all pleasantness ceased. It seemed as though our server (who, granted, probably had too many tables to attend to) was miserable. She was snippy and sulky

Very rarely do I give really poor reviews. We came in on a Saturday right off the boat. Four of us. My wife, daughter and best friend. We were greeted by a less than friendly waitress. She clearly wanted to be somewhere else. The drinks were good but that is where it ended. Not only did we receive a crab soup with a hair in it which is fine but no apology just a replacement. Our appetizers took one hour and they were just okay. We had two drinks and left. We then went to Suicide Bridge restaurant and had the complete opposite experience.

I know it's a seafood place, but a veggie burger would be a nice addition for people dining with their family so we don't have to just order french fries. Also, someone at our table ordered the crabs cakes and for the price paid, said they we too heavily seasoned. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Over all, decent dining experience for a 45 minute wait.

So in all truthfulness, I’m a bit tired and cranky from a long trip. So we popped into this local restaurant that was closing at 8 pm. It was 7:20 pm. We thought we were fine as we just wanted a quick drink and salad, nothing requiring cooking. However, we were informed the kitchen was closed and not taking more orders. Of course there was a sign at the desk that said “kitchen closes 30” prior to closing time.” By this time it was 7:25 pm. In all fairness, the hostess (albeit begrudgingly) went to ask on our behalf. She came back and said no. I think that all would have been ok, I get it

The crab balls ($13) were really good and I thought it was decently priced. The mussels ($14) weren't bad either. The world famous crab cakes ($45+) were extremely over priced and average tasting. Ahi tuna was a bit below average. Bloody Mary was also disappointing but would go back for the crab balls.

The staff was attentive and the atmosphere was great. We enjoyed eating by the lake. The Spanish Rice was rather dry and the shrimp had a different taste (it depends on one’s preferences, but I didn’t like it very much). Overall, we had a great experience here, but the food wasn’t our absolute favorite.

This is my fist Yelp review. I have never in my life been treated so poorly at a restaurant before attending Snappers: The hostess (a child) started a dramatic event and accused my family and I of "swearing at her". The owner aggressively approached me and yelled at us and accused us of "cutting eyes at her". My family and I were so confused and had no idea what either of them were talking about. Our party of 13 waited two hours for disgusting food. My father has health issues - it was a big event for us to get to go out to dinner as a family. It was ruined thanks to some bratty

Excellent crab dip served in a sourdough bread bowl. Lots of crab, tasty and satisfying. The Fried crab cake also had lots of crab, very little filler and was cooked to perfection. The fried snapper was a little overcooked, but tasty. Nice view of the water. Service was slow and though our server was not rude, she was not particularly friendly, either. Service with a smile improves any meal.

Met up mid-week for lunch with an old friend. Due to the pandemic, there were some changes that affected the experience - i.e. plastic smaller cups for drinks.

We chose to start with the small crab nachos. OH MY.  The serving was half a plate, but the amount of crab and cheese was spot on.  Loved it and we ate it UP.

I chose the tuna ahi as my main, but opted out of any sides due because I wasn't that hungry.  It hit the spot.

They were very accommodating when we asked to change seats on the deck. Originally they had us sitting in front of some shrubs that blocked views of the waterways

Let me start with the service. It was super quick and polite. We did get plastic utensils with I did not appreciate, but I think they do that because of Covid.
Atmosphere: it was exactly as expected. Loved it.
Food: The crab 🦀 dip was really creamy and yummy. We also had the Maryland crab soup which wasn’t good at all. The crab cake dinner was a smaller than at other places, but tasty.

So they had 20+ empty tables, which were said to be reserved, and they refused to seat our two families. Rude and did not care about us or our families. We left on the boat, never to come back. Went to Portside and they took us in with open arms. Thank you Portside. Snappers, you will never get a dime of our money.

So we just stumbled across this place and what a delight. The outdoor seating is just fabulous. Tiki bar and seating by the water makes it the perfect atmosphere. We didn't eat a full meal because all we stopped for was a drink and appetizer. Stuffed mushrooms were great! My wife loved the bloody Mary. Wait staff was delightful. Next time back (and we will be back) we will eat a full meal and get the full experience. Great time.

Delightful lunch visit today. Was able to be seated by the water and for lunch I had the grilled cheese with bacon, crab dip, and jalapeño. It was a perfect combination of sweet, salty and spice. My side was cole slaw and it was perfectly made. Glad a colleague brought me for the visit and I want to go back and try some of the other menu offerings.

The food is ok at best, the sizes are ridiculously small, and the price is high compares to the quality and quantity of food that you get. The online order experience was a complete joke. Ordered and it took 45 mins for the app to say the food was done. We drove to the restaurant and they said they had just gotten to the order and that it would be another 20 minutes because "they were busy." Overall not very happy. Also, we ordered peach cobbler and did not get it in our bag of food.

What' was good: Lovely location, a true 'no filler' crab cake, diverse menu

What wasn't good: Exceptionally long time for food to arrive, so-so flavor

I have a high level of tolerance for restaurants and the challenges they are facing during these times. I was happy to visit Snappers for the first time and to find they offered both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, I found the service to be good. However, there was a LONG wait between ordering and our food arriving, followed my layers of excuses and minus an apology. The food was also quite unimpressive, not being very

I've been here twice now in hopes of good food and service. The first time was in the winter off season while dining in. Food is overpriced and subpar. Service is okay.

This time around, take out is the only option due to covid-19. Service was mediocre but the food was just absolutely terrible.
My partner and I both got sandwiches where the crab dip was featured on the burger/chicken. Crab dip was mostly mayo. Considering the sandwiches were a melt style, we expected messiness. However, we did expect to be able to pick up our sandwiches and eat them. Nothing stayed between the bread. My
