Dr. Sandefur and the Paws & Claws team have been taking care of our beloved dogs for the past 18 years and we wouldn't trust our dogs (and the occasional rats, and foster cats) to anyone else. They care deeply about the welfare and health of our pets, and when it came time to say goodbye to our beloved Percy at 17, Dr. Sandefur and Dawn came to our home to help us do that in a comfortable setting. Fair, professional, kind and highly recommended.

I decided to change vets recently and on a recommendation from my daughter landed at Paws and Claws this past Friday. I can honestly say that from the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, I felt like part of a family. My dogs have never been shown so much love and caring at a vet appointment, and I have never been given the time to ask questions or express my concerns in a way that I did not feel like I was inconveniencing the staff with what I thought was important. Doc really knows her stuff and gave me some great suggestions for an issue I’m having. Nothing over the top just simple

I am grateful that Paws and Claws was able to discover the reason for my 12 year old cat's weight loss and sickness and within two weeks, after prescribing the proper medicines, my baby boy was back to his normal, playful and happy self and has now gained his weight back.
I additionally was grateful for their care and concern regarding the pandemic and their assuring that we were all safe.
The Vetrinarians, nurses and staff are all well trained, professional and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone.

Took my 11yr old Maltizu here for a wellness checkup. It was our 1st visit because we had to change vets due to location of previous vet becoming too far to commute. We are very happy with our selection of Paws & Claws. They were extremely kind, very thorough & professional. We definitely will make this our vet of choice from now on.

We are new to Nashville and we needed our dog to be seen right away. After we read many reviews we knew we would be in good hands here. They were able to get us in quickly and make the correct diagnosis for our dog. The Dr and staff were wonderful. We will be back for all Coco's health care needs!

My dogs have been patients at Paws and Claws for over 15 years. The staff is amazing! They care for your animals like they are their own. They always call after an appointment to check on your four legged family member. Ally is always so sweet and concerned for the animals from the moment you call the office. Dawn and Dorthea could be twins! They always have a smile on their face and are happy to love on and snuggle my girls when I bring them in. I have mainly seen Doc in my time at Paws and Claws but have seen Dr. P as well. Dr. P is one more amazing part of the practice. She had such good sense
