We would like to give you some information which you may find useful in understanding our office. We want your child's first visit to be as pleasant and comfortable as possible. On the first appointment younger children will have an introduction to the office. Our experience has shown that most children over the age of three will enjoy their first visit without the accompaniment of their parents.*

We recommend that preschool children are seen in the morning because they are more relaxed, we are able to work more slowly with them and make them more comfortable. School age children with extensive treatment needs are seen in the morning for the same reason. Excused absence forms explaining that dental treatment is medically necessary will be provided.
