Here at Indian Bend Animal Hospital, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Phoenix. We offer a comprehensive, pet-centered, owner directed whole body approach to veterinary medicine. As a veterinarian, my purpose is to make you aware of your pet's health issues and give you the options as to how the issues can be addressed.
As a new client of our animal hospital in Phoenix, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
The night before your pet's dental appointment, you will feed him as usual. Either at your bedtime or at midnight (whichever is sooner), you will pick up the food bowl but leave water available. In the morning, you will not give your pet any breakfast (even if he looks pathetically sad and hungry) because you know that fasting will make anesthesia safer.

Human healthcare should be like this! We just got a new rescue dog and the folks at IBAH made his transition into our family smooth. As first timers, we had lots of questions and they had all the answers.
When our pup had a weird cough, they were on the phone quickly with helpful info. They offered advice and help with no strings attached and never focused on $$$$.

I was fortunate because someone canceled and they were able to see me the same day for my new puppy check up. I was greeted with very friendly and helpful staff. This was my first visit and I definitely will be returning. In addition to my vet office appointment experience; when I was leaving, my car battery was dead. Nick and Tyrin helped locate my battery and jumped my car. I would have been lost without them. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend this practice. 5 stars 🌟

I really love Indian Bend Animal Hospital, we take all of our dogs and cats here! They are a smaller clinic, but you wouldn't know it with how many patients they see. All of the staff are friendly and caring. Dr. Gulinson answers all of my (many) questions about my pet's condition and treatment. Dr. Gulinson always seems up to date on new studies and information that comes out. Some of our pets have had unusual cases, and so she will consult other vets or specialists and get their opinions on what is best for my pet. I was lucky to have gotten a few more years with my beloved senior dog and cats

My family has used this vet for years and now that I'm an adult with fur babies of my own I went here. They were very friendly. My poor cat urinated on herself and they CLEANED the kennel out for us while we had an appointment. The appointment went well and she took her time listening to everything. She even showed me photos of things that were going on with my cat. I had a good experience and would recommend them. The price was reasonable and doable. Thank you!
