Attorney Frank (Francis) E. Gonzalez is a life-long resident of San Antonio, Texas, having grown up just north of downtown. Frank has been licensed to practice law for 35 years, and comes from a family of attorneys, former judges, and former elected public servants. Mr. Gonzalez began his career with the Texas Attorney General's Child Support Enforcement Division where he served for over 18 years.
Jonathan is a board member of the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (SACDLA), and was named one of "San Antonio's 2018 Rising Star Lawyers" in SA Scene Magazine. I was walking to work and struck by a vehicle. I had never been as injured by an accident before and had not idea what to do. After my call to them, they took my case and came to my home to access my condition. They were with me the entire way, lending advice at times but making me feel open to my choices. The staff was amazing (Joy) and I never felt like I was left behind. I had never used anyone before but they made me feel comfortable and it all worked out. They are an amazing team! I had the worst experience with this firm. My lawyer was Chase Butler. He asked her a $1500 retainer to work my case and my money was used to just push paper. I do not recommend him to anyone. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I was told in a whole year they could not find my daughters father to serve him with papers but it took 2 weeks for my father and I to find him. Does that make sense to anyone? NO IT DOES!!!! He refuses to make it right. At the point, the only thing that could make it right is to give me a full refund so I can hire another lawyer that is competent enough to get this

I got screwed over by La Quinta regarding being offered a $6k settlement for a pretty bad injury I received in November. I got a call from their offices soon after the injury and was told the $6k was for "out of pocket expenses, my pain and suffering and inconvenience because of the situation". I was told it was over-and-above what my insurance would pay. But soon after I received the check, I started getting bills well over the $6k from the hospital, for which I gave them my health insurance info. I hired Frank Gonzales in good faith with the impression that I would be able to make payments since he knew I could not afford a lump sum amount. He did agree to take my case with all of its entirety being an ongoing case for 2 years. When Discovery had been served he all of sudden had major doubts about the case making me question whether or not he is capable of winning the case or whether or not I should continue to pay him. He then demanded I pay the remainder of the balance up front or else he was going to withdraw from my case. I just want to say that this whole experience has been very misleading

Very very helpful law firm. I had a case against my landlord once and even though they didn't take that kind of case, they helped me by explaining step by step on what I needed to do. They took their time with me on the phone, & even called me back with some very helpful resources. They even went out of their way to type up a demand letter for me. Most law firms just care about the money and won't even bother with you if they're not going to benefit from it, but this law firm is like no other. I will forever be grateful for their help!
