Thank you to Javier who took care of me right from the start. I was upset to learn that my 1 year old luxury vehicle needed new brake pads and the dealership was going to charge me a ridiculous price. I went on Yelp and read reviews about Javier's shop and drove over. He told me to come back the next day at 11:30, and he was done by 5:00. He was honest, reliable and charged me a fair price. I highly recommend this shop and will be coming back for any future needs.

Javier was very helpful
I showed up as a walk in he said to come in the next morning
He not only fixed my Smog Check problem but also took my vehicle to the smog check and paid for it so I only had to pay him and pick up my vehicle
I'm from the Midwest and have been very disappointed in the service from the flakes in CA but the mechanics in P Springs are stellar

Twice now I have taken my car in thinking it would need a repair that was pretty major and therefore expensive. Both times Javier called me to give me the estimate and to tell me neither of the expensive repairs was needed. The honesty was so refreshing. We discussed some things that should be done due to the mileage on my 2005 Lexus. It now runs like a new car. That was the first time in. The 2nd time was just a minor tweak needed. I highly recommend ASC. Talk to Javier and he will take great care of you.

I took my Fiat 500L to find out why it was making noise and Javier worked on it for over 25 minutes and couldn't find the problem. when I asked how much I owed him he said "nothing, make an appointment and I'll have more time to work on it." I did and it was a transmission problem, Javier gave me a loaner at no charge for 4 weeks, until the parts and transmission were fixed. What a great guy and I highly recommend this mechanic if you have a Fiat, as Fiat mechanics are hard to find in the valley. the closest is in Ontario. Javier does all kind of mechanics except smog checks

What a great place! We were driving drive Orange County to Phoenix and our air conditioning went out. We called every service station in the Palm Springs area (including the dealerships) and they said that they did not take walk in appointments. I called ASC and Javier answered and said he would make time for us. We went to the shop and he immediately invited us into the air conditioned office to cool down and started working on the car. He was upfront and honest about initial costs for diagnostic and said he would know more once he checked out the car.

I made an appointment same day and I showed up two hours late. The mechanics here fixed my water pump and my fan clutch quickly and maintained professionalism even though they had to stay late because I didn't show up on time. They didn't even charge me for making them stay open after hours. Five Stars.

My A/C compressor broke, went to Stellar Performance in 29 Palms to get a quote: They told me compressor, condenser, and so many other things need fixing. The quote: $2000. Found Automotive Service Center on Yelp and saw the good review. Called and got a quote for the same repair job: $846.89. When I picked up the car the next day, he told me only Comperssor needed changing, condenser has no problem. So, instead of the original quote of $846.89, he only charged me $650 because I didn't need

This place is terrible, They dont care about their customers saftey and have no respect for their customers. i had my suspension worked on i had mutliple problems with with the job and had to return several times to get my vehicle in running condition. They sent me on my way with my vehicle not in running condition and then when i finally returned everything to stock and 1000 dollars later i drive hoME and i look at my suspension and multiple bolts were sticking 1/12 inch out, not tightend at all, its a good thing cause i was going on a road trip tommorrow, so i call them up and they come to my

Drove through Palm Springs a couple weeks ago, on the way to Arizona, and noticed some unusual noises and vibrations from my car. Pulled into ASC prepared to replace a bunch of parts (including tires).
After the wonderful gentlemen at ASC checked out my car, they told me it was just the combination of the roads and the age of my car...and that no work is needed and I shouldn't have any trouble driving the rest of the way and that my car's just fine.
Sure enough, it was just parts of the road and my 12 year old car is still driving just fine.
These guys were honest and quick!
