As a 1st timer I purchased crab cakes, Garlic Parmesan Wings, Brisket Sandwich and Burgers. They overcooked the Burgers a little but everything else was awesome...
Those crab 🦀 cakes were better than most seafood restaurants 😋...

I was very disappointed yesterday, I was very surprised by how the establishment is not allowing people with hoodies in after 9, and if you were there before and was eating you would have to take your hoodie off if you do have one on. I believe this is over the top. The reason I was told to take it off was because they have people taking drinks and putting it in their hoodies. So this rule is put in place by the establishment, I spoke to the manager and asked why, and his response was the same. I believe that it's not the hoodie that's the problem, I believe that your security and your staff have

I was very disappointed today. I usually come here to sit and enjoy my time with my wife. But today was not that case. I was wearing a gray hoodie and towards my night I was told that I had to remove my hoodie because they have a new policy in place. So I asked why? One employee told me that they had people come in and during the night of Friday and Saturday while the deejay is playing music, they had people sneak out drinks in the hoodie? I was really astonish and dumb founded by this. So I asked to speak to the manager and he also addressed the situation and said it's a Tom Foolery policy

Really enjoyed my Mushroom Swiss burger. Perfectly cooked. Loved the atmosphere and will definitely be back. As a local chef, myself, I always support local. Such a great place!!

Heading to the movies so we wanted to eat before heading there. Found Tom Foolery's and said why not. Walked in and waited about 2 minutes waiting on someone to come seat us. After waiting I walked towards the bar area and they were all talking instead of looking out for customers. After I got the waiters attention And then he seated us. Looked at the menu; wasn't that impressed but decided to stay. Ordered 2 Steak and ribs and 2 Chicken tender meals. The steaks were tough and bland. The steak was small and dry. The ribs dry and small. The tenders had no flavor but a lot of breading.

Originally we loved this place but then the pandemic hit and the food and service was horrible. We didn’t want to give up on Tom Foolery’s so we decided to give it another try on Friday night. We are so glad we did! What a difference! The service was absolutely wonderful and the food was back to GREAT! Glad that we can add this restaurant back into our weekly rotation. Kudos to the owner and management for turning things back around.

The food was sub par we had the Chesapeake fries and the sauce tasted like flour and had no flavor, the stuffed flounder the fish didn't taste fresh and it tasted way over cooked it was also very oily , the Delaware Ruben was pretty much all turkey and very little corned beef. The fries were over cooked and tasted like the fries haven't been cleaned in a couple weeks, the brisket sandwich the brisket was over cooked and had no flavor the plating of the flounder and all of the sandwiches needed one substantial the fish needed either potatoes and a veggie or something else. Extremely disappointed given the great reviews given by others. Nothing was available on the "special" menu (why give it to us?!). Tried a simple burger and it was DULL. No flavor. Salad was worse...limp and tired. Did not have any interesting beers. Waiter not very helpful when informed about my food allergies. Will not return.

The staff was very friendly, but to cut to the chase, my stuffed flounder was horrible. I mean the worst I've ever had horrible.
My daughters burger was very average.
My wife's chicken wings ...8 out of 10 good and her beer was excellent.
I'd visit again.

Sooooo. I hate giving bad reviews. 😔 It's only two stars because I liked my ribs a lot. So! Had the crab dip app, it was way cheesy and not so much crab, it was unimpressive. Also we waited a long time to even order our food but I'm assuming the waiter was just mentally busy. Anyway, we order, get our food and the freaking flies are annoying as ever! I had to push my over cheesy dip to the side for our fly friends so we could somewhat eat in peace. (We have friends that confirmed that flies were an issue for them as well). I visited this location on July 25, 2021.
We order brunch items, steak and eggs, two orders of French toast with scrapple. Beach Bum Bloody Mary's and Blackberry Mimosas with Crabby Tots as the appetizer. The tots were AWESOME.. The meals were HORRIBLE!!!! I couldn't eat mine, I sent it back and canceled. French Toast burnt and no flavor, look like the scrapple was cook on a flat top that was cleaned and scrubbed but they left the debris on it and prepared food on it. UNACCEPTABLE.

Food was okay. The best thing about place was the wings. The crab burger wasn't really seasoned so it didn't do much as far as flavor. The worst thing about the restaurant was the ridiculous amount of flies. No one wants to be swatting away flies every time they take a bite. The flies were literally harassing us. One landed on my mouth I wanted to cry. The owner needs to invest in some bug spray, fly traps, pest control, something cause it's quite ridiculous. Unsanitary

My husband and I went for the first time at noon on a Saturday. It wasnt packed so we were seated right away. All the employees we interacted with were friendly. While the food was good, it wasn't "I gotta have this again good". Note that their salads use mixed greens so if you're like me and not into the stemmy greens then you won't like the salads. LoL. I'm also a big bathroom person...I think the way restaurant bathrooms are kept say alot about the restaurant itself (imo), and their bathroom was clean and stocked. Went during middle of week. Nachos were over cooked to the point of almost burnt. Cheesesteak was merely ok. Overall was a good place to come for drinks but food was just ok

We came here out of the blue on a Monday at about 6 o'clock. There was a decent amount of people inside and we still didn't have to wait for a booth. The appetizers came quick and were great. We had the crab dip nachos and fried mozzarella. Both were delicious, probably the best fried mozzarella around here. For dinner I did the special which was one of their $6 burgers and she did the fish tacos. Everything came out so fast and good. I really enjoyed my burger and onion rings. We will definitely be back soon for the other specials.

I had to bump review to a 5. Food has been outstanding every visit.
I had their brisket nachos. They were really good. Portion size was a good size for two to share.
Their cheesesteaks are very good.
Had the roast beef sandwich tonight. It is a special on Wednesday. So good and sandwich is huge!! With a healthy portion of fries. A heck of a meal for $6.00! Can barely get a meal at a fast food place for $6.00.

This is my local go to spot. If you want good food, Good drink, and a nice place to chill this is the spot for you. Prices aren't bad either.

Tom Foolery probably has one of the more interesting menus that I've seen. Stacked from top to bottom. I'd like to try every appetizer and entree!

During my first visit, I picked up an order of crab pretzels with Old Bay sour cream. Something quick to snack on during a car ride.

They were just the introduction I needed to Tom Foolery and its menu! The proportions are great and the pricing is as reasonable as any other restaurant in the area.

This place is open for indoor and outdoor dining during Covid. The food was good! We sat outside. I had the chicken with crab imperial on top. Comes with large side salad

We had a great lunch at Tom Foolery's this past weekend. We had the Southwestern egg rolls for an appetizer and they were yummy. Loved the hot honey they drizzled across the top. My old man had the crab bisque and a steak salad, while I had the Monte Cristo sandwich and a house salad. Everything was really good but neither of us really cared for the fancy lettuce in the salads. Romaine would have been better but that is just our personal preference. The service was friendly and super fast and we didn't have problems with anything. Definitely a winner.

This is a good restaurant/bar cheesesteak. It's $12.50 but it did come with french fries. It comes with provolone cheese. I am still learning provolone cheese. I thought provolone cheese needed a sauce or something to loosen it up. Apparently I was wrong. The provolone on this cheesesteak worked well. It appears they melted it on top of the meat and then flipped into the roll. It melted good enough for provolone. Standard roll, the meat was good, lettuce and tomato were nice. I think the fried onions and mushrooms were the weak links. This Cheesesteak traveled very well.
