Great Wall

Best Chinese I’ve ever had. Been comming for 15 years. Excellent Chinese. I won’t even eat any other Chinese anymore as every time I try another place it doesn’t stack up to this place. Great Wall elkton crossing shopping center.

Egg rolls
Beef lomaine
Orange chicken
Sweet and sour chicken
Chicken teriyaki on a stick
Beef teriyaki on a stick
Steamed dumplings.

Food was 4/10 ordered egg foo young, shrimp fried rice and generals chicken.
1. Egg Foo young- loaded with shrimp good taste not salty as other places I’ve had. But they forgot my white rice and I didn’t realize til I got home. Gravy was nasty looked like chicken gravy and not brown gravy. 5/10
2. Shrimp fried rice- lost of shrimp rice tasted slightly old. 5/10
3. General chicken- Rice taste slightly old and even though the chicken was not covered with a lot of breading it was tough and the sauce was none existing. It was so dry I had to use duck sauce to compensate for the lack of sauce

Ordered General Tso chicken. It had been cooked too long. It was hard to chew and very stringy- Don't know what happened but I won't order that anymore from them.

Wonderful staffing, amazing food, for a place in a shopping plaza! The only thing I could say about the food other than that is was amazing, is that the meat was a bit too tender? If that's a thing.

Great Wall has always been friendly and The food is always hot and the orders are always correct. This is the only Chinese place we order from!!

I can literally order a meal in 30 seconds which is awesome, the food tastes great, the people are friendly and the prices are good. The only downside, and mind you the food is so good that it took 1 star off, i get the tummy rumblies if'n you catch my drift. Again the food is so good I dont even care.

Ordered two entrees and both of them were incorrect. And what I did have was mediocre tasting at best. Crab rangoons were bland. Only delicious thing I had was the egg roll.

Great food the service is good. The food is always ready in 10 MINUTES no matter how much food I order 👍

This is Elkton location near food lion and Walmart. The lo Mein uses oversized big spaghetti shaped noodles, and they are different from most lo Mein noodles? Weird mouth feel. Rice is brown because they cook it with soy sauce ? Rice tastes good. My DoorDash driver forgot all my soy packets I asked for! I gave her 1 star...
OK so basically I would give this food from the Elkton Maryland location a seven out of 10.

So the food is fine and dandy, when they don't forget an item in your order. I postmated my order and it came within the time frame and everything is pretty great. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and all i got was the chicken. No sweet and sour sauce, now I don't know about you regular yelpers but usually this is no cause for concern, just call and they'll send you your sauce right? No, the woman on the phone was pretty rude, asked me to come pick up the sauce myself but then insisted they were closing so it had to be within the next 10-15 min. She also insisted that she put enough

I've been looking for a decent local Chinese food place for a long time and this hit the mark! I ordered egg rolls, fried shrimp, cheese wontons, pork fried rice, General Tso's, Lo Mein, and sweet and sour chicken. The order was processed quickly and everything was spot on! Definitely some of the best wontons I've had in a while, my 5 year old and I were fighting over them! There were lots of fresh vegetables and very generous servings (enough to feed a family of 4 at least twice). The food was infinitely better than the "big name" Chinese food place in the area!

The beef and broccoli was good on texture but the flavor is just OK. the pork fried rice is also an OK, but I cant describe why. It had all the necessary pork rice essentials but something about the rice was more steamed like than fried rice. It was a just barely OK dish. At least it wasn't terrible

The chicken wings are really delicious, good size, flavor, and nice crunch.

We called tonight and placed an order for two small simple combos. We were told 40 mins. One hour twenty five minutes later driver shows up, the total 22$ and we had two twenties to pay. Driver then said he has no change what so ever. So we gave him the bag back and will never order from here again

Went a little out of my way to try this place. I used to think most Chinese take out places were all about the same. I'm glad to say, this place proved me wrong. Everything we ordered was quite good.

Plenty of chicken in the chicken and broccoli. Fried dumplings were very good with a thin dough.

I will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

Horrible service. I called in a order from my work. Once they arrive two items were missing. When we called they said we were lying, fought with us and kept hanging up. Eventually they told us to never come back. I work customer service and I know customers can be tough but I was not. Blatantly disrespected. I have only used great wall for about 5 years and sadly I cannot humble myself to ever return after that experience.

Before walking into this hidden treasure I was greeted by an older man walking out who informed me that I will never taste a dish short of perfection. After ordering a delivery for about 8 people I have discovered that this man was telling the truth.

I order from these people, coconut shrimp, veg. Fried rice and when I got it the food was not all it was it was suppose to be so I called and complained and explained to the owner that the veg. Fried rice e was nothing but onions and how it just was burning my eyes and the coconut shrimp did not taste like coconut. You won't believe what she does, she hangs up on me. Never order from these people they can't cook and they will take your money.

While I was staying in Elkton over the weekend, I was getting hungry after a long day of driving. I decided to venture out late night and stumbled upon Great Wall, which is located at the Elkton Crossing (Food Lion) along US 40.

Great Wall is a typical strip plaza Chinese takeout restaurant which is an order at the counter place with open kitchen and self serve table seating. They offer the standard Chinese dishes & items and chef's specialties including Hunan, Szechuan, Cantonese and curry dishes, plus a heath food section on the menu. Definitely the best place to get Chinese food in the area. The food is always hot and fresh and there Sesame chicken is sweet and moist. I don't go anywhere else to get my Chinese food, the prices are reasonable and the facility is clean unlike most Chinese joints.
