Cold laser therapy is a state-of-the-art alternative therapy to assist with pain and healing. It can be used after surgeries to help increase blood flow to local areas, improving healing. For this same reason, it is also helpful for wound healing. Cold laser therapy can also be used for chronic pain, helping to increase blood flow to those areas.
Saying goodbye to a pet is never easy and can be a difficult process. Just know that you are not alone, and we are here to do everything we can to make this a peaceful process for you and your pet. In the 10 months we've live up in Evergreen we've has to use Evergreen Animal Hospital at least a dozen times for various reasons. Dr. Teel and is staff have always been nurturing and attentive. His level of expertise is truly impressive. They've accommodated in a few emergencies, saving us from having to go into the city. There is a comfort in having a local vet you can trust with your pets. Anything from a dislocated hip to dentals and vaccines. Definitely recommend everyone here, you're in good hands.

I switched vets a few months ago and today I am so glad I did! I had to put my 20 year old cat down. You would have thought I was putting down a human with the unbelievable compassion and professionalism I was shown. From the check in staff, to the techs, to the vet it was amazing!.The special room they have for this purpose is so touching. With dim lighting, a water feature and placards to pets that have passed on... Not to mention cozy furniture that you can sit with your beloved pet. They were all ready for me with a cozy cat bed and blanket. I'm getting teary eyed just writing this! With

Absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in the door I knew this place was full of love for our furry friends. I have a kitty that isn't feeling well and I brought her in because they are open wen other vets close for weekends and holidays. It was snowing and I carry her in a carrier so when I came up to the automatic doors it was a great surprise to not have to set her carrier in the snow while I opened the doors. I was immediately greeted with smiling faces and laughter from the reception staff. The check in process was quick and painless even though I had never been here

My dog ate two pieces of gum with xylitol, which I had recently read is deadly for dogs in as little as 15 minutes. I called her regular vet first who said go to the ER (we live at least 30 mins away from the closest one), the second vet said their doctor was in surgery and to call Evergreen Animal Hospital, and I'm so glad I did. The person who answered the phone told me I could make her vomit at home, asked her weight, spoke to the doctor, and gave me step by step instructions on how to do it. Sure enough, she vomited and I found the gum. I am so grateful for their easy guidance that saved

My family has been going to Evergreen Animal Hospital for almost 20 years. I can say that they have been wonderful every time we have been in. I've never had to wait, and they have never over priced me for a service. They always give me the estimate beforehand and then ask if it is ok to start tests or treatments. We've had multiple dogs neutered/spayed, and have never had an issue.

Most of all, they have always been very responsive. I have called on several occasions and ask them to fax over records to boarding kennels or other vets and they have always done it. I've never had

I've only used Evergreen Animal Hospital for emergencies. For past emergencies I felt they were responsive and reasonable. Recent visit was extremely expensive and they said we needed to return every 3 days for a bandage change, then charging an additional $28.50. The bandage change seemed unnecessary and just another way to charge more money. There was a sign stating if they were closed to go to Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. Apparently they are not always open, just when they can staff. I would have been bummed to drive from Lookout to Evergreen to find out I needed to head to Wheat Ridge

I've never heard of a free initial check up. I've never heard of an 8:30 p.m. non-emergency or urgent appointment. Not until yesterday. My dog broke one of her back nails pretty high up on the nail to the point where I didn't feel comfortable handling it myself or letting it run its course without a vet telling me that was ok. I called them because they were closest to me. They got me a same day 8:30 p.m. appointment and assured me that the appointment wouldn't cost anything unless the doctor thought she needed to treat the nail. Still skeptical at this point.

So when

My dogs have been checked for heartworms, all negative, yet I couldn't order heartworm preventative from an outside source without bringing them in every year for a wellness exam. "It's their protocol(to make as much money off you as possible)to not approve a prescription without seeing the dog at least once a year" was what the tech told me. My dogs are on preventative medication every month of the year yet I can't renew their medication without spending money in their office. I took my dogs to another vet's office where their protocol is every two years as long as

I recently had a sick dog and my vet was full so my wife and I took our pooch in here. We did not have the greatest experience, but it could've been worse.

We checked in while we waited in the lobby. The main waiting area is large and luxurious; quite comfortable to be honest. The exam room was much smaller and less comfortable though.

The nurse was friendly, but was a poor listener/communicator. We believe she neglected to relay certain information to our doctor (certain symptoms, and our request to hold off on prescribing medication until we could review the blood tests). Another

Went there to have my dog checked up because she seemed to be very sick, found out she had cancer and was dying. We waited a few days to see if she would get better and when she didn't we went in to see options. After we decided that putting her down was the best thing for her I have never seen such a rude insensitive group of people in my whole life. They put me through the worst experience of my life then basically kicked me out because we called them out on how awful they were being. They don't care at all about you or your pet all they care about is getting paid! One minute telling

Dr. Terry Stephens has been our dogs vet for years. We took our rotti in to be looked at for a shoulder injury. He gave us some medication and told us to watch it and give it 8 -10 weeks to see if it improved. It looked better for a bit then started to swell bad.. We made an appointment to see vet but we lost dozer that Sunday night.. We were of course heart broken he was not even 7 yet..
We took dozer in to have him cremated at evergreen animal hospital. They were nice but opened up the back doors and had me put my dog on the cooler.. Kinda disturbing I was really having a hard time as it was

I contacted Evergreen Animal Hospital today because my puppy had gotten into the food bag, leaving him bloated, which can lead to a flipped stomach and ultimately death. The lady who answered the phone quickly found someone to instruct me on how to induce vomiting and what signs to look for in case he needed medical intervention. I'm happy to report that after a small dose of hydrogen peroxide, my puppy released the excess food and has been napping comfortably since. Thank you so much for the advice!

I got up today with the plans of staying home and enjoying the Redneck Rites of Almost Spring (The Daytona 500) along with all the obligatory food and beverages. It was not to be as my dog unexplainably lost the ability to put any weight on his left front leg and started limping around on three legs. So off to the only veterinarian open on Sunday, Evergreen Animal Hospital. Two technicians were there waiting when I arrived and after answering the usual questions the veterinarian, Terry Stephen entered the room. When I see concern and compassion on a vets face it puts me at ease. Dr Stephen examined

Absolutely amazing service and care for our dog. We were at a near by dog park when our little dog was attacked, concerned about her condition we drove on a Sunday to the after hours emergency care at Evergreen hospital. We were greeted at the door by a very nice young man and he helped us into a room right away. Not only was he concerned about our dog, he did his best to make sure that my boyfriend and I and our other dog in the car was comfortable. The vet came in right away and examined our dog and gave her pain medicine to make her feel better. They turned a scary stressful situation into

The service is poor, the people are rude and condescending, and they overcharge for everything.

I took my chihuahua to see them with a dislocated hip, and was charged over $400 dollars for a sling that fell off 2 days later and did nothing. I asked if they would consider refunding any portion of it and they refused, and said she required surgery. They claimed they had told is it might not work (which is true), but they did not say that the sling might be a total piece of junk that wouldn't even stay on for more than a couple of days.

After quoting us a price of $1500 for the surgery, I

I love that everyone at my vet's office loves my dogs as much as I do. The care that they provide is genuine and it really helps when your pet is ill and you are worried. You know your pet is getting the best care possible.
