Loved it!... On the spot Viet-Thai you can see and taste the freshness of the ingredients in the dish, also liked the fact that they don't over indulge on 200 options on the menu, it's a good size, just enough to know and taste every dish is made to order 👌

Went there today and the flavor of their pho was definitely different. Their chicken wings are still very good. Thai iced coffee is still "strong like bull" haha. Everyone in my party said the flavor of everything besides the chicken wings was different. We asked if there was a new cook, they said no, but I think otherwise. I might try it again, maybe it was an off day because it was very busy.

I don't know about the vietnamese food, but the Thai was not good. I had the yellow seafood curry and there were 2 small rubbery prices of fish, 2 small shrimps and 3 squids and imitation crab. The dish was filled with what I'm sure is canned bamboo shoots.
Ambience was awful. Quiet and depressing. You can only hear the squeezing kitchen doors.
I usually have great experiences when I try ethnic restaurants in Lowell. Not this time.

We got take out. It is a small storefront restaurant with a family serving the food. The chicken Pho was delicious, the spring rolls were very large but just ok and the soft noodle dish was good. The restaurant was very clean.

I have been coming to this establishment for over 10 years. I frequented Viet Thai when I was in high school eating everything from the pho to the old buffet they used to have in the afternoons. Sadly this past Friday was the final time I will ever come here. I got the chicken pho which I have had once or twice as opposed to the special beef based pho I typically get. The chicken tasted a little off but I proceeded to eat the entire bowl anyways thinking it was all in my head. The next morning I woke up dizzy, vomiting, having cold sweats and having diarrhea. These symptoms lasted until Monday

Food was per usual... I'm not even mad when they don't give me the necessary utensils and sauces on my to-go order (there's a container fee but that's justifiable). -1 star for the credit card fee... I paid cash.

I've been eating here since I was a kid. I think by now, I've ordered about everything on the menu. The food is great. Fried chicken wings are delicious and the pho is perfect without any add ins. Some rice plate portions are off but tastes great.

Some days the service is quick and some days you have to sit a little while to get your food. I find that when I order the sticky rice and chicken, they often don't come out together and sometimes I don't get it til my friends are halfway done eating.

Food: 9/10 (because of some portion sizes)
Service: 7/10

Very good pho. It’s rare to have beef balls included in the beef noodle soup. Flavors were all there. Service was great, unfortunately only one person really English. The only other con is the Luke warm soup. It really could’ve been hotter.

Included 20% tips automatically to my check after continually screw up my orders. The girl said 15% is state minimum by the law for the tip. I did not know she also had law degree (sarcasm). I don't know how it is possible since she screwed up 85% of my orders so far. Mind boggling....

I should have seen this coming. They don't put that on menu but they will charge you. Bad business practice. Make sure bring lawyer friend with you. Apparently it is acceptable practice in Massachusetts. I think they do this to certain customers who complain about their service. So watch out and ask before

EVERYTHING HERE IS SO GOOD! I'm shocked by the 3.5 stars overall rating because I legitimately loved everything I ordered. The food is authentic, the flavors are developed, and the prices are cheap - what more could you want? This little gem in downtown Lowell is the perfect stop for all your Vietnamese cravings and then some. They have a pretty decent sized menu with everything from pho to vermicelli to rice plates.

Made the 45 minute trek from Manchester, NH to try out Viet Thai and lemme tell ya, I'll make that trek over and over again for this delicious food. You walk in, seat yourself

Always a solid choice in Lowell for Vietnamese food. I believe they have lunch time buffets in the weekends of generic Chinese food but you would be doing yourself a disservice by not ordering from the menu. It's been quite sometime since I've had the buffet so perhaps it's changed. I usually get the pho dac biet or the bun bo hue( a beefier and spicier soup with thicker noodles) but I've enjoyed practically everything else I've ordered from the menu. The service is a bit slow sometimes, especially if you're sitting on the other side of the restaurant, and the food

Absolutely delicious! I ordered chicken wings with steamed rice. The wings (tip and drum) are crispy and flavorful. My family ordered pork, fried rice, and noodles, and they were all pleased. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed eating there!

Viet-Thai is a prime place when I am craving pho. The soup (in the pho) was very flavorful and the condiments offered were perfect. It helps people decide if they want a little bit more flavor or spiciness. The employees were always filled my water when empty and they were very attentive ( since I was the only one at the restaurant). Overall a great place. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We are regulars here so obviously the food is amazing! The price is right and the quality is great. They recently underwent a renovation and the restaurant is immaculate and more up to date. Parking is a bit tricky in downtown during the weekdays but the new meter systems is convenient to pay.

We love going to the lunch buffet on our days off work. There's always eggrolls, fresh goi cuon, some authentic Vietnamese specialties and their delicious wings! There's always a good selection of vegetarian options including a green bean dish, tofu, etc.

Sometimes, the rice and noodles in
