Oral disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem for pets. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of three show signs of dental disease. Like people, pets need regular dental cleanings to remove plaque and tartar buildup. If not removed, this buildup may lead to periodontal disease and more serious health problems.
Our laser produces an infrared light energy at specific wavelengths, called photons, that are absorbed into the body's cells. Photon absorption increases cellular health and energy, thereby reducing pain, inflammation, stimulating nerve regeneration, muscle relaxation, and improving the body's immune system.

This guys have done decent work for me in the past but canceled appointments on my with out notice. Even if email confirmations of appointments the refused to see me. Positive it was a failure of their scheduling system, but their lack of willingness to accommodate what was an obviously a failure on their part led me to seek vet care else where.

This vet wanted to euthanize my dog due to a case of pyometra (Only performed a visual exam and still charged me $150). They did not want to perform surgery and continuously pressured us into euthanizing her. Even when my dog made it through emergency surgery somewhere else; the staff continued to call me to let me know they had a cancellation, and to bring her in immediately. Since May of 2021 when Hartwood decided my dog didn't deserve to live anymore, she has made it through 3 MAJOR SURGERIES and is as healthy as a 9 year old dog could be. Dr. Austen made a BAD call and therefore they lost a

The doctors at Hartwood are the most caring, considerate doctors I’ve been to in a long time. I had a horrible year last year, and lost 2 cats and 3 dogs in a matter of months, due to various health problems related to old age (the joys of owning seniors). At each final appointment, the doctor was sympathetic, and seemed to genuinely care about me and my pets.
I trust that they have the animal’s best interest at heart, and will be completely honest about what treatments will work for your pet. They have never recommended treatments that I didn’t believe were completely necessary. I trust

I had been taking our dog here for regular checkup, bloodwork, etc. their prescriptions cost at least 30% more than Chewy.com and that was after military discount. This add up since our dog’s medication is almost $100 per month. They refused to fax prescription over to Chewy and charge $10 for paper prescription. I worked in medical clinic and faxing prescriptions is the most secure and standard practice everywhere. I called another vet clinic nearby which also has 5 stars reviews. They informed me that they fax prescriptions directly to Chewy at no cost.

Dr Jewett and staff are fantastic. She is very down to earth and has helped me through one of the roughest patches with our best friend. There they are very busy and hard to get in I prefer to take my pets to them over many that have come across. It speaks volumes if they are busy and hard to get into. She is a perfect fill in for the vet that I went to for over 30 years where I used to live.
