Very friendly and professional. Their genuine concern for every animal that comes in there for any reason is refreshing and valued. Got a question about your pet? Send us a message about weight, diet and other pet care tips. Loving Touch Animal will have to set new guidelines for our appointments due to the restrictions asked of us at this time.
Please let the staff know you have arrived by calling. A staff member will go over these with you. If there is in-house testing we will hold the patient till results are completed, the staff member will share results with you. You will be asked to stay in the parking lot for the duration of the visit.

Services
Loving Touch Animal Hospital has had a lot of growth in the last year and continues to grow. After a lot of soul searching, the Doctors and Practice Manager knew that Loving Touch Animal Hospital had an important roll in the community and knew that roll needed to continue, so they took over ownership.
Loving Touch Animal Hospital works to be the most trusted and respected pet care provider in our community by administering the best possible medical care and giving outstanding customer service to every patient and every client every visit. 1 Partner with our clients to nurture and preserve the human-animal bond.
Dr. Laura, our Medical Director, was raised on a farm just outside of the Charlottesville area. She worked at a veterinary clinic in the area before heading off to college. Dr. Laura graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University where she majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Spanish.
Loving Touch Animal Hospital works with animal charities and shelters to provide low income communities with affordable spay/neuter surgery. We believe this is important because spaying and neutering improves the pet's overall health and it keeps unwanted pets out of our shelters. Our hospital also offers discounted services to animal welfare organizations and shelters to give homeless animals a new leash on life.
We would like to thank Saint Seton's Orphaned Animals for Sponsoring SSOA Operation Love. SSOA Operation Love is a discounted program to help families in need get the care their pets need. The below section goes over the requirements needed to qualify for financial aid. Funding may be restricted to the availability of funds provided by Saint Seton's Orphaned Animals.

Great practice for your pets. Even with Covid limitations and restrictions, they are fast, efficient, friendly, etc.
I love the vet(s) there. They are always willing and happy to answer all questions you have, no matter how big or small.

Loving touch is a awesome local vet which provides great care for our little dog. They are always nice, thorough, they explain everything to you before doing anything and then after care instruction and health plan for future. I would highly recommend Loving Touch Animal Hospital. Great job everyone!

We just adopted a new furry family member and needed a quick vet appointment for our pet insurance. Loving Touch was able to get us in. This was our first experience at Loving touch and each staff member answered the questions I asked them. I appreciate the care and treatment of our furry family member.

All of the vet techs were very polite and willing to help and answer questions. The veterinarian that saw my cat talked to me about her weight, calorie intake and possible diet plan as well as gave me several options on how to proceed with treating her allergies, pros and cons and all. I felt I was being given the information I needed to make a decision and I appreciated the patience to do that for me.
This is probably where I will continue to go for my cat.

Loving Touch has been my veterinary hospital for 10yrs. Ive had cats and dogs treated. We've had the sad experience of having a pet euthanized. The compassion given towards our pet and us eased the pain of the experience. We recently had a 3 year old dog neutered. The surgery went well and his recovery is going great. The staff is friendly and kind. A particularly memorable time was when one of the vet's got down on the floor with my dog to examine him. May not seem like much but it showed she cared. She got down on his level.
