I've never actually been to my honest mechanic but did call to see if they could do a repair... They weren't able to get me in in the timeframe I needed so they recommended another mechanic down the road... I love a mechanic who is very helpful! Will definitely make me call them again for my next repair!

I wanted to find a local car repair shop that I could go to regularly. I believe I found one. They informed me of repairs that may need attention in the near future without trying to up sale me. Which I appreciate! There was a slight hiccup which I can’t say was completely their fault but either way they corrected with no problem. Will definitely be going back.

The team was great. They were completely booked up and couldn’t get me in for a used car inspection. But they were able to at least get a John (one of the mechanics) out with a flashlight to look over everything. Good to get a second opinion. And I appreciate them doing that even in their busy schedule. Brandon (the owner) was chatting with me and told me he runs his business not about the bottom line, but about the people.

I had my 2013 First Fusion repaired here per recommendation of my brother. I had been advised by another shop that my vehicle needed a very expensive repair which I disagreed with since my car was not having any of the issues that would be related to this particular part. Honest Mechanic was my 2nd opinion, although I did not mention to them what the initial shop had recommended. Jeff was my primary contact and he listened intently to my description of the issue. After assessing the car he determined that it was the alternator (which was my initial guess) and he also recommended the serpentine

My Honest Mechanic treated me very well. My truck had a whine for several weeks, it was a faulty power steering pump. With 140k on it they made sure to drive it after and found there were also some front wheel bearings going as well, causing some unwanted nice and wheel slop. It was a repaired and my truck runs as quiet as ever. 10/10 will go back.

My honest mechanic is awesome! The back driver side door on my wife's civic would not open and after researching it I saw it could cost between $400 and $800 dollars to get it fixed depending on where you went. It also took a lot of labor because you had to pull the inside panel off with the door still closed. MHM got the panel off diagnosed the problem got it fixed without having to order any parts and it only cost $65! How awesome is that! They are the only place to go!

I have an older Toyota Highlander and it does have high mileage. The team here has done a wonderful job in helping me keep this vehicle in great shape with many more miles to come. I respect the information that they offer and realize that they could be like other shops and seek to up sale you. I have not found this to be the case. I feel you can trust the recommendations they provide.

We had a car with an expensive transmission issue and Brandon took the time to investigate the options, and saved us a LOT of money rather than just forcing the highest cost solution at us. The service level was excellent, the communication clear and they did what they promised. I will use them for all repairs going forward.

I visited "The Honest Mechanic" for a State Auto Inspection recently. Parking is not very good; I had to park far away due to other stores being located in the business park. The receptionist seemed nice and the waiting area is clean. I had to wait about an hour, but once I got in, it didn't take long at all. After about 15 minutes of surveying my vehicle, Brandon informed me that I had a "pinhole" leak in my exhaust system, but he could probably get it to pass inspection. He also told me that my tint was 27% transparency ... illegal in NC, therefore it wouldn't pass

I've taken both my cars (a Toyota Sequoia & Lexus ES300) to My Honest Mechanic and have been really pleased with the work done. Thorough, fair, and reasonably priced. Both my cars are older & have several issues that may need to be repaired, and they walked me through each issue, how much it would cost, and the pros & cons of fixing it or not fixing it, with no sales pitch to do unnecessary work. Highly recommended.
