Tara Gill Portrait Photography

We hired Tara because we didn’t have a recent family photo and wanted to add one to our “family wall”. She is a true professional and put us all at ease. She captured some precious moments. We love our photos and how they show our love and connection to one another.

I used Tara for various photos, both for my online profiles (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, and even Yelp), my blog, and most importantly my book covers. I teach at Stanford Continuing Studies and have books on SEO, Social Media, and AdWords. "Personal branding" is a must, and so by having a very professional photographer like Tara I hope to make myself look, well, fabulous. I did ask her to either make me like George Clooney or like Brad Pitt, plus take at least 20 pounds off of me. But she explained that reality is stranger than fiction, and so she took fabulous and fun photos of me.

Tara did an awesome job on our family photos. Of course, she shoots good pictures -- a lot of people can do that. What makes Tara special is that she takes the time to get to know you and help you get comfortable and have fun with it. She sweats the details of what kind of background and poses bring out your family's authentic character. And when the shoot is over, it's fun to choose the shots you want to highlight in an album, etc. Very highly recommended!

I had Tara take my family's holiday photos and we could not be happier. We have a four month old so getting a good shot of the three of us can be a little difficult. But Tara did! And she was very flexible considering that our little one can sometimes be a little fussy one minute and smiley the next.

She was also for quick on getting back to me. And the site she uses for her photos is really convenient to view and purchase the photos.

Tara did a fantastic job with our wedding photography. Not only did she take beautiful pictures, she also gave really practical and helpful suggestions as we planned for the day. She walked through the venue with us ahead of time and asked what types of things we really wanted out of our photos -- the group photos, the locations, the private moments, etc. She also had a helpful spirit and way of being that calmed us. Tara Gill is AMAZING. My husband and I had a photo session with Tara to capture my pregnancy and it was so much fun and I LOVE the photos.
