I am Chioma and I have been a photographer since 2011. I chose to specialize in newborn and maternity photography in 2015 because of the intense passion and love I have for this genre of photography. There is something truly special and magical about newborns and it is a privilege to be chosen to photograph your little one for the 1st time in their lives and to capture beautiful moments for you and your family.

Because photographing your baby is special to you, I always aim to create soft and beautiful images that are timeless using natural tones and textures and very simple poses that ensure that your baby stays safe and comfortable throughout the process.
The bond between a mother and her unborn child is truly special and remarkable to see. You feel an intense love for this little being growing inside you and the whole family is excited to meet your new baby. As a photographer, I feel it is my duty to capture these moments in a way that truly enhances the emotions and provide you with timeless images that you will love and cherish forever.
Babies go through different milestones in their first year from rolling over to taking their 1st steps. This session is designed specifically for babies between 6 and 12 months who are able to sit up unassisted. Some babies are also able to do this before they're 6 months old. Sitter sessions and cake smash sessions are one of my favorite sessions to do because they are so much fun!
Professionally created images of our children are one of the necessary investments we make and they are a constant source of joy to us, bringing smiles to our faces when they are all grown up and I am committed to providing you with a high standard of photography. There is a $150 booking fee for all sessions which secures your booking and will be deducted from your final order.

I would highly recommend Chioma for both maternity and newborn photoshoots. She is very knowledgeable, talented, and passionate. My pictures came out very beautiful and everyone I shared my pictures with had very positive things to say about them.
During my newborn shoot, my baby was fussy, but Chioma was so kind to assure me that all will be fine and to my very surprise Chioma used her magical hands to calm my baby down to sleep before she began the shoot.
Look nowhere else and you will not be disappointed at all. As an added bonus, Chioma’s prices are reasonable.

We had a very good experience with Chioma. She was very kind and understanding. She was amazing with our fussy twins. Her studio is great with lots of props and backdrops. Our photos only took a week, they came out perfect. We loved every photo so we upgraded the package and bought all the photos. I highly recommend Chioma Afigbo Photograpy.

My experience with Chioma was amazing! Right when me and my partner went in to shoot our session, it was very comfortable, she made us feel welcomed in her lovely home, such good hospitality, and was great with my little baby :) handled her with care. And really just has your best interest. Our photos came out beautifully. I was so emotional when the finished product was shown! I’m so happy I have these memories captured so beautifully. I’m in love with these photos and will definitely work with her again! She’s so easy to work with and very professional, I love her!

Chioma is an amazing photographer who is very responsive and easy to communicate with. During our photo session, Chioma was friendly, accommodating, patient, and most importantly, she was gentle with our baby. Chioma's studio was very clean and it was reassuring to know and observe her practicing universal precautions during this pandemic. Chioma was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Chioma photographed my maternity photos and the process was so easy, effortless and beautiful. I was very impressed with how fast my inquiries and our correspondence were being answered. Chioma has a very nice sized studio with a lot of maternity outfits available. Her newborn prop materials are even more abundant! During the maternity session, Chioma meticulously posed me.
